Last time I Was on this forum was perhaps a couple of months ago, and within this period of time from then and now, I am gained low-level LD quite a lot, I'm aware i'm dreaming, but i fail to influence anything and get sucked back into the dream.

However, last night, I got a short LD, about 10 minutes, where I realized i'm dreaming (everytime i relaize i'm dreaming, i'm in my bed and @ night! so false awakanenings never get me anymore lmao. ) but, I can't seem to exit the room. it's also dark as it's night time. This time, I managed to get things a bit clearer, and I "warped" acouple of lights in, but that was about it, then I woke up....

I'm looking to any times where I can stabilize my dream and actually do more things!

      thanks

      Rad. Thats so cool man.

As for increasing the background light and exiting the room... What i would suggest is trying to increase your awareness. Rather than right away trying to change things. Just stop and get your thoughts in order. This will increase your control.

After about 30 seconds of just reassuring yourself that you are dreaming just start walking towards the door. And imagine whatever your mind wants to be on the other side of the door. And walk through it.

      Good luck.

Hey dude! I actually had the same problem. Logic would tell me that I can turn the light on - to flip the switch. But I didn't. I tried to "will" the light to turn on, and it sort of flickered, and I got tingles in my hands. It was cool, but all you have to do sometimes is just use your brain normally. Possibly I would have done more in my dream if I just thought more logically, but, really you can do anything you want - just know that some things are much harder to do, and that some thoughts might not cross your mind - adjust to the possibilities.

And about stabilising - try spinning or rubbing your hands together. Stabilising comes naturally too, from practice. I recommend taking some time in the first few minutes of lucidity to adjust, and to become even more aware. This will give you experience and recognition.

      Hope this all helps.

I also heared that just looking at your hands helps you gain more control.
