Thread: First Time!

Well, I have been a member for some time now and I have a DJ in here. But I lost interest in all this until last night when suddenly I had a LD.

I'm pretty lazy so I'll just copy the section from my DJ:

I was sleeping at my friends and he and I where just hanging out. Suddenly people started dropping in from the door and I thought, what the hell? In a few minutes the house was full of people I've never seen but my friend seemed to enjoy it. Somewhere then I realised that this was a dream. People dropping like that was just way too normal for my friend hehe. The first thing I tried I think, was too jump and see if I could levitate. I wasn't as sucessful as I thought I would be, but the gravity wasn't completely normal. My friend started jumping too but he was under normal gravity. I managed to jump up to the ceiling once and that was like 2 meters or something. After a while I wanted to wake up really. But it seemed harder than I thought. The dream, the whole scenario repeated itself when I wanted to wake up. It actually became very annoying. I thought about getting laid with a beautiful girl since I could do whatever I wanted but I never did it. That was pretty stupid of me haha. Eventually I woke up and forgot about all this until later today, actually just before I started writing this.

Weird thing is that I'm not very upset or impressed. When I discovered in my dream that I was dreaming and did "unnatural" things I was very happy and thought it was very cool. But now it's not very impressing for some reason, of course I'm happy but not that much as you might think you'd be. Maybe because I didn't think about it after I woke up until hours later. Maybe another LD could "do the trick".

I was a little bit disapointed by my first LD, but the second one "did the trick" for me. It was much longer and more vivid.

Hello, thanks for replying and thanks for "crossing fingers".

I told my friend about this and he first said I should quit because it's dangerours. I don't know what he have heard about lucid dreaming but I won't stop yet anyway. He laughed when I told him that I sort of levitated.

Seems your friend is an LD expert
If you are really worring, try to look around this site for more info on LD "safety". It is a quite common topic here...

Yea, my first LD was kind of like yours, PoLiSen, in the manner that I wasn't too excited about it when I awakened. I flew for a few seconds over a city, and then awoke.

Oh well, maybe I'll meet a lovely woman in my next dream, and that'll do it!
