I do believe for an adult male a stimulation occurs during an orgasm, but no ejaculation. (normally) Generally speaking orgasms seem more prevalent in woman than men during this period. I guess it's only right. In waking like it is the other way around.

I've found this as well. I think its a combination of a good blood flow to your happy bits during REM and how much sex you're getting! I didn't experience this until my boyfriend left town a couple of weeks ago and i started having frequent orgasms, really really easily (which is not like me unfortunately) in my dreams and lucid dreams. I have read that upon studying orgasms in dreaming that they aren't "real" orgasms, but hell, good enough for me!

not sure, they had her all plugged in to monitors. There must be some kind of chemical release or something. Something that should happen during an orgasm, that didn't when dreaming, even though she thought she had.
