Tis' the restrictions of the 4D world. |
Most of the time, i can obtain lucidity when i sleep. When this happen i could always fly and shoot lightning or energy out of my hands and materializes stuffs like guns and swords but the thing that bothers me alot is that whenever i fly at top speed, i find it hard to make a sharp turn to the left or right and to stop at wherever i want. I actually have to find a wall so that i could push my legs on it to make me stop or change directions. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to control yourself to stop at top speed or change directions? I want to actually fly like superman....i can almost do but its just hard to make a turn and stop at the place you want to stop. |

how can i get rid of restrictions? |
haha, that was just a stem from a theory I have, that the dream world is a spiritual escape to the realm of the 4D. Where theproblem you had is a physical law there perhaps. |

You should remember that the only reason it is ever "difficult" to do anything in a dream is because of the inredibly concrete perceptions you've set from real life physical laws into your dream. In real life, you know when you jump, you come down. After jumping many thousand times in real life, you've realized "I dont think I'm gonna keep going up." So when you come to your dream, it is really hard to break this thought pattern. I believe that to do anything in a lucid dream just remember it is a construct of your mind and there are no barriers. The only barriers are mental barriers. That is harder than it sounds though, because often in (my dreams at least) dreams you'll want to just go off and do something. However, you have to just increase your awareness. In a couple of lucid dreams in the beginning I have yelled "INCREASE LUCIDITY NOW" and its helped A LOT. The more you realize its a dream, the easier it is to do stuff. |

you should just be happy that you have as much dream control as you do. I have real difficulty making things appear or controling the dream in other ways, but i can control what i'm doing. flying is about the only thing i can do well in dreams, and turning has never been a problem for me. perhaps try flying in a plane or with a jetpack to help you steer. it gives your mind reason to believe that you can turn, which is the main problem with dream control. i tried that in a LD i had a couple of nights ago, but i wasn't able to materialise a jetpack. |
If he's just happy with the control he has he'll never improve. The "plane/jetpack" thing is kind of silly... it is only good for beginners. You are only reinforcing that you are not able to do it in a dream, thus making it harder in the long run. You should just realize from the beginning that you can fly because there are no restrictions. |

ZackAttack: actually, i've tried materializing wings on my back it does help but what i really want is superman/matrix reloaded type of flight. nice suggestions tho. i appreciate it. |

I was having the same problems a little while back, with the turning and stopping and what not, and came up with a few tricks to try and overcome them. |
All i can do is fly. Ok that's not true, i have been able to become lucid for many years, as a kid i just woke myself up when i realized i was dreaming... I don't know why but i have a gift for flying, sometimes i have trouble with other control (because of my own freakish emotions) but i may have a suggestion though it is going to sound hokey as shit....grab a broom make it a racing broom with breaks and all the works... let that give you the control you want and then you may be able to do it without the broom... (i obviously read too much harry potter but it helped me) anyway yea, i agree with everyone else, you're setting those limitations and you can break them. |

I experienced the same problem when I became able to fly at my fastest. I can control direction much easier when I'm moving slower, but I just attributed that to the fact that as I understand physics, if something is moving really fast in one direction it's not going to want to just stop or sharply change direction unless there's quite a bit of energy making it do that. |
The issue I see here are the fact that people are trying to control the nature instead try focusing on the mind. Remember you are not really flying it's your mind that's the participant so all laws of physics are pretty mcuh out the window. |
if i did a sharp turn at high speed id probably start spinning really fast. |
Do you know where you are?
Thank you very much |

Do you think that my muscles have anything to do with my being faster, or stronger than you.. in this place? |
