This is the first lucid dream were I was lucid enough to remember that I wanted to try to hover in my lucid dreams. I woke up after 7 hours of sleep and went back to sleep for about an hour, during which the lucid dream occurred. In my dream I was at my old house and when I was coming in the side door I went to look in the the bathroom mirror. I looked normal, but for some reason I decided to do a nose RC. At that point I realized I was dreaming and walked out of the bathroom into the kitchen where my mom was standing and uncle was sitting.

In the kitchen I just reached my hand up and just believed that I would float up to the ceiling, and I did. I could also go toward walls by just "pulling" myself to them. I then tried other things like flying around in the kitchen, which didn't work very well - I started by trying to pull myself a bit and then continue going without pulling but I ended up hovering for a few seconds and the "crashed" back into the floor or a wall both times. I tried spinning by pulling with both hands at the same time (right hand in front of me pulling left and left hand behind my back pulling right) and it worked. I couldn't figure out if I was spinning the correct way assuming both hands were pulling - perhaps that's a way to gauge how much the logic part of my brain was working. I also tried to pull in an arbitrary direction (not directly toward a wall or toward the ceiling). When I tried pulling up to the ceiling and toward the wall at a diagonal type of way, I would just end up going toward one or the other - like it snapped my direction of pull to the normal of a flat surface closest to the direction I wanted to go in. I went up to the room of the old house that used to be my room (but don't remember walking up the stairs). And of course I "knew" there was going to be a sexy girl waiting for me.

Of course I forgot to tell myself that she was going to want me or want to do anything with me, so she just walked out of the room and started going down the stairs, at which point I was able to "will" her in staying, by thinking things like "I know she wants to stay" and it was like she just changed her mind and came back into the room. I looked at the books and stuff on my bookshelves and remember seeing gears of war, the xbox 360 game. I looked away and at the name again and the name changed to like ger so shoe or something, but with the same font/color as gears of war. She asked me to read some long description or summary on the back of a book she was reading, but I decided to not read the block of text for fear that I would lose lucidity. Anyway she was hot and we started to, you know. At one point I stopped looking around the room for a bit of time and after maybe 10 seconds I felt some weird things under my chin and I assumed it was the sleep paralysis wearing off and I was about to lose lucidity. I tried to say "lucidity now" or "increase lucidity" but it was too late and I felt myself lying down in the bed that I fell asleep in.

I didn't open my eyes or move, and I still saw some imagery. I saw this computer-like white textbox, and I didn't have a keyboard but I typed "reenter dream" like it was a command prompt. It didn't work so I figured I must have typed it wrong and tried typing it again. It didn't work the second time and my imagery fading away and I was completely awake. Perhaps it would have worked had i not just finished sleeping for 8 hours. Right after I woke up I went to the bathroom and thought I saw something standing in the side of the room just for an instant, like an evaporating shadow.
