I have been interested in dreams for a while, and think they are quite fascinating. I was looking around the other day, and came across the different types of dream. I knew I had had dreams before in which I knew I was dreaming, but didnt know this is a common thing to occur to others also.

I came across this site, and found that it is possible to 'teach' yourself for these to occur more frequently. I did not know this could be done, and I usually seem to have them anyway..not very often, but on occasion, I do.

For example, a few years ago I had a dream.. I was running along a high wall from something, and came to a dead end. My only option was a wall much lower down than I was, and very far away, but I remember thinking, "I am in a dream, and people can always do strange thing while dreaming, so if I jump, I'll make it" I jumped, but woke up after that, so I can't really say if I did make it or not.

Also, I've had dreams in which I know I've had the same dream before. I had a dream one time, in which I wasnt aware I was dreaming.. but I then had the same dream once again months later, but with slight changes..and I remember thinking in these dreams, "that didnt happen last time I had this dream" and so I tried to change what happened to fit what had happened previously.

Well, I suppose thats enough for now.. Thanks

Hi x-samantha-x and Welcome to Dreamviews.

It seems you are a natural lucid dreaming, so am I. You have definately come to the right place to advance your abilities in Lucid Dreaming. I've learned a lot from these guys. Do you usually remember a dream in great detail once you've awaken from it? How Long do you remember having Lucid Dreams? I know for a lot of naturals it's pretty hard to tell considering it's something you've been doing all your life. Whenever you have time take a look at the tutorials. You will get a lot of information and it could answered all of those questions that you just couldn't simply get answered on your own. Feel free to ask any information to those DreamGuides around this forum they are extremely knowledgable and helpful. Well I'll C-ya around

      Happy Dreaming.

      Hi, thanks for the welcome

I have not had many lucid dreams, but the few that I have, I do remember quite well. Mostly because afterwards, I thought the fact that I understood that I was dreaming in my dream was interesting, and have thought about them since. I'm not sure how long I've had these for, I think the first time for me was maybe around 10-12 years old.

I was interested by my lucid dreams in the past, and now I know that it is something you can control, I'll be sure to have a look around and read about it. Maybe try and induce a couple of my own accord next time.
