      Thumbs up

Whenever i remember my dreams in the morning i have to think really hard to determine if what i just had was a dream. Because the normal dreams i remember all the time, i have full control over my 5 sences, and even if i just drempt i had a battle in a 200 year old bar with monsters i feel like i just did for real. All of my normal dreams are Completely LIFE-LIKE.For instance I had a non-lucid dream of me riding my dritbike and i could hear the bike and everything! I could even taste the dust from my friend doing a burnout. Is this normal?
      or am i just lucky?

IM not sure if it's normal. But I have the same things, dreams where i can smell things... taste delicious foods... etc. Moments of Ultra-high definition when looking at my hands or something where i can see not only my skin cells but red-green-blue dots resulting from the refraction of sunlight thru the water molecules on/in my skin. Only i guess most of the time it's with lucid dreams that it's the most intense... I remember 2-3 normal dreams a night too...most of them very vivid aswell... but since i usually have WILDS after i've slept for 4-6 hours when returning to sleep after naturally awaking... and then i'll have like 4-7 WILDS over several hours... i often find myself wondering where the hell i really went.

Yeah, I sometimes have strange dreams like this.... Since I started lucid dreaming about two years ago now, I've often come into periods where I swear I can remember things, but I'm not sure if they've really happened, or if I had just dreamed it awhile back....

A couple weeks ago, I had a dream that was so real, I even said to myself in it something like "This is a really awkward situation, it's times like these when I should really do reality checks....", but the scenery and even the accuracy of the location was so on point, that it just didn't seem possible it could be a dream.... Everything seemed so damn real, I just couldn't tell. I love dreams like that.

I think it's a little bit of both. Your dream is happening in your head, and it's there where all your memories of senses are stored. These senses get "recalled" when you're in a dream. What I think is happening is that you have pretty good dream recall - goot to the point that you're you're remembering not only the scenes, but the senses as well.

Combining a memory with physical senses can give us a pretty good interpretation of reality - which is why you find it difficult to separate "reality" from dream when you wake up. Not to mention that our sense of reasoning shuts down a bit during dreaming.

When I had a lucid dream once (with very little control) I was running along grass really fast and couldn't stop and I kept nearly falling over and there were sticks on the ground which I could feel scratching me

It's the same for me too, the only way I become lucid is out of realizing how crazy and illogical everything is, but I'd say doing RCs, even when you know you're awake, will make it easier for you to become lucid (at least, that's what other people have advised me, personally, it only worked once)
