Well, here's my experience, a common one at that.

I'm dreaming, doing whatever and I either see something [an object, event, etc.] that reminds me of another dream I had, usually one a year or so old. I'd realize that the thing I remembered was in reference to a dream I had and will just shrug it off.

This happens to me whether or not I'm LD, it's been happening to a lot more lately and I was just curious as to why it happens or if anyone else has had a similar experience.

Yeah I've had that, I remember dreams in dreams. Its cool how the mind can do that sort of stuff.

Yeah, I've found it cool but kinda weird since I've never really paid much attention to it until recently. Good to know that I'm not all alone when it comes to this

Hey Amzie, are your dreams really like your picture? It looks like a fun place to be

Yeah, I've done this before too. One time I was dreaming I was at a haunted manison, and when I looked at it, I realized that I've had the same dream before. So there I am, in my dream, trying to remember exactly when I've dreamed this before... it was weird, but cool.

I get this ALL the time too (in about 50% of my dreams)! Does anyone ever have dreams that follow on from a previous dream (like a seaqual) that you have forgotten or have a dream with a similar story to a pervious forgotten dream?

I have had one dream twice (remembered the first in the second dream) where my aunt has set her house up in a really freaky way with mazes and secret passages in it and the whole family has to find their way out. In that dream, the basic plot was the same but slightly different things happened when I was trying to get out of the house...wierd. i love having them tho because it means that I remember dreams from ages ago.

I've had a sequel dream once before, but I can't remember what it was about.

I've actually had a few dreams that were exactly the same, though that usually is with old dreams, and they go generally the same so I just do things differently to see what will happen [I'm always lucid by that point], but nothing really good comes out of it.

While I remember this, have any of you dreamt a dream to its 'end' and found yourself repeating that dream from the very beginning right afterwards (I guess it's similar to playing a game from the beginning, getting to whatever end it has, and restarting the game from the beginning once you've seen the end)? I have, three times I believe, I was so confused and/or angry that it reset each time.

I have similair dreams a lot and they all seem to be set around places that are close to each other. Like I will be on top of a hill in one dream and look over across a lake and see a part of another dream that I have had. I guess its kinda like a huge dream board where some dreams are set in the same areas and others are just close together. I dont always have dreams like this but over time it happens and I tend to see the conections.

Hmm... makes me wonder if then, if it was possible to have a LD all the time, could you find the end of your dream world? Or is it just like our world, round, but infinitely large...interesting...
