Well last night I was in bed trying to do a wild(or mild, I dunno lol), I think I was thinking about what I was going to do once I was dreaming, cant really remember. Well I started to get this really weird feeling like I was floating or something for just a split second, then I heard a little boy say James(my name). I didnt really care but about a second later I heard a little boy yell James! So then I opened my eyes... damn. A few minutes later I just fell asleep and had normal dreams

Well Im about to go to sleep now, and Im setting my alarm to wake me up in 5 hours and 15 minutes.

Dude, when you start hearing shit, that's when you're there.

Next time you get to a stage like that, I want you to imagine an object in your head. Pretend it's in front of you. Concentrate on this object until you can actually see it. Then, pick it up.

      ... You were there.

I did the same thing last night. Trying to WILD.

I got to the point where your limbs start feeling weird, and like there's a lead blanket being put over you. What stunk was, I started drooling and that was taking away from my focus on my breathing. lol...

Then I got to a point where I was immediatly in a dream interacting with people (not very vivid, though), can't remember what I was doing now. But then I realized "I'm there" and that woke me up. I don't think I was focused enough on the transition, and I don't remember it happening, which is what startled me.

Tried again, and this time my arm shot up (either for real or in a false wakening) like a jolt when you're falling in a dream. But I wasn't asleep, or so I thought.. lol.

So I fell asleep and hoped for a DILD. (my normal LD method) But I got close to a WILD. It's pretty cool, and that sleep paralysis feeling is FREAKY!

Yeah, you just have to push through that stage in a WILD no matter what. You were so close! Lately, whenever I WILD, and I get to that stage, I have a feeling of a bug crawling on me in various places. This sucks A LOT because I am very freaked out by bugs crawling on me, and my first instinct is always to jump up and scratch it away. Not very conducive to making it into an LD.

When you hear voices your LDing??? Or that's a signal?

I hear that all the time while trying to get to sleep, not like an imagined sound, it's like people are talking outside your bedroom door, or inside your bedroom. I've reality checked though after hearing the sound, the digital clock method, finger through palm, and nose pinch. Are you saying that I was accidentally attempting to WILD? I usually just lose conciousness after that point, what are you supposed to do after hearing things? I should try that visualization thing? I thought I wasn't supposed to try WILD at this point.

      Well, whatever works I guess...

Ya.. the cool thing is, now I try to WILD right first before bed, then I get to try to DILD at about 3am when I wake up to go wiz and get a drink. So double the chances for LD.

I have gotten the bug feeling before too when trying to WILD.. I normally can't resist the scratch. I wonder if I focused on the itch, thinking it's a bug, that would help enter the WILD and not lose the transition so easily? Start things off with a bug on your leg, enter WILD, turn it into Jessica Alba in her Dark Angel suit... mmm...
