Why Didn't I Go Lucid?

i had a dream the other night and i after a while i noticed i was dreaming. i could also make things appear that i wanted, but i don't think i went lucid there wasn't any more clarity than there had been before in the dream. i just want to know y. so yea thats it

Well if you were aware you were dreaming that's lucidity. By clarity do you mean visual or mental? Ive had some dull lookin lucids myself. I've heard you can try some b6 supplements if you find your dreams dull looking. I haven't had any experience with this myself.

yeah if you realized you were dreaming you were lucid. how vivid the dream is completely different. try looking at your hands for like 30 sec when you become lucid. helps somtimes or try taking some b6 though i havent had much experience in that either or it could be a dream recall problem. keep writing in your dream jornal to fix that! and last there are a few lucids that just have bad visuals somtimes you cant do anything about it. good luck! and somtimes

i thought it over for a while and remembered that i just got side tracked. the next time this happens im gonn stop everything and try harder
