It would just be like any other story where a character gained infinite powers by finding some kind of holy grail artifact.

I'm not fighting that it was lucid, I feel that it couldn't have been, but I think it was close. I think I'm going to have to ponder the significance of it, and try to learn something from it.

I really think that I should try and find those glasses again, maybe it's something to look for.

I think I know exactly what you're talking about. Last night I had what I can only describe as a 'fake' lucid dream. Several dreams signs were appearing in the dream without my paying them proper attention. I think my subconscious was trying to give me a chance at realizing I was dreaming, but I failed to see what was happening and just went along with the dream.

Long story short, my family and I are at a convenience store. Several dream signs had already come and gone without my becoming lucid. Now, my parents and I are standing outside when my sister (who in WL lives a whole state away from me) walks out with a very perturbed look on her face and says, "Did anyone stop to think that maybe I wanted to get some chips?" My dad replies with, "We didn't know. You should have said something." To which she says, "It doesn't matter anyway," and turning to give me a sly look she ends with, "I'm just a dream character anyway."

Immediately I think Oh, that's right. I can fly and stuff. Almost like getting up in the morning for work only to realize that its the weekend. Pretty cool, but not Hey I'm freakin’ lucid! cool. Because, I don't think I really become lucid. I had control of the environment and such, but I wasn't really conscious of my choices. Almost like my subconscious was doing its best to imitate a lucid dream without making me lucid. I flew around, summoned a light saber and did other cool stuff. But I couldn't have told you what I had for dinner earlier that evening, or any conscious stuff like that.

Supreme and utter control with poor imitation lucidity. Kinda frustrating.
