Not posted in ages as I've not had any luck until this morning when I managed my first WILD...
Basically I had set my alarm to wake me up at 5am but when it went off I gave up on WILD very quickly and went back to sleep with it set for 90 mins later hoping to just concentrate on recall. At 6.30 I woke from a dream that I'm never going to repeat or record as it was just too messed up and I wouldn't want anyone to see it , then set my alarm again. When I woke up I actually hit the snooze button a few times before going to the toilet and then trying to WILD.
I was suprised at how quickly it worked as it was now about 8.20am and I'd had plenty of sleep. I think I counted to about 8 before I started to find it hard to concentrate and I noticed HI starting to form. A few breaths later and I felt a strong buzzing all through my body and realised I was now paralysed. I found it pretty hard to keep count and kept losing focus on my breathing but every time this happened I noticed it quickly and started counting again. I lost the vibrations a few times and also lost the SP once or twice but I found that staring straight ahead (with my eyes closed) while trying to focus on the area around what I was looking at helped to bring the HI back.
I saw a neon cube form and concentrated on that for a while and made it spin, then tried to turn it into a room that I could reach for and enter. I successfully made it into a room but it was too far away to reach for. I then saw lots of rippling blue so I imagined it was an ocean that I was doing backstroke in. This seemed to work but the colours were very cartoon-ish. I imagined rolling over to swim on my front hoping that this would let me break free from my physical body and sure enough I felt the most intense and kinda wierd sensation as my consciousness left my body behind.
My body was still on its back but I was now face down on the matress. I still had my eyes closed but I pushed against my matress and started to rise. I wondered if I would see my body when I opened my eyes but all I saw was a flash of a skeleton? I was now suspended above the foot of my bed amazed that I was actually successful in leaving my body. I stood on the floor and plugged my nose and tried to breath, which I could. I walked up to a clear space in my room and flew in a quick backflip just as I woke up.
