Yep, this was just so cool. I couldn't get back to sleep after I woke up. It's good you have a really, really big "friend" getting your back in Lucid Land lol! That's a trip to think that you the dreamer had to argue with your dream. Weird and interesting.

Hey Ben, I'm still feeling my way through this, reading, experimenting and getting a lot of great advice from The Blue Meanie. I'll tell you what I've been doing, but I'm a real noob. So please check with one of the DGs if you need to.
I do RCs whenever I think to. It's getting more frequent...maybe 10 or 12 times a day. The more the better for me at this stage. Time will tell what's going to be the most reliable and effective RC(s). My goal is to really assess whether or not I'm dreaming instead of just going through a ritual of RCing. I RC with whatever is around me. For example, if I'm at the computer, I check the computer clock and maybe nose pinch. On the bus, check the street signs (for scrambled or reversed letters, numbers, etc.) and poke my hand. If the bathroom, my reflection, etc. When I'm satisfied, then I say the result of the RCs in my head. Today, I RC'd whenever I took the elevator at work and tried to stick my hand through the wall lol!
This was my first successful MILD experience. The problem was that I was just saying my MILD mnemonics before going to bed, not when I woke up at 3 AM and 5 AM. The day before yesterday is when I started the 3 AM / 5 AM MILDs. The timing must have something to do with it.
What I did was: I woke up naturally (no alarms) at 3 AM, stayed in bed, and repeated my mnemonics phrases. "I'll have a lucid dream." "I'll remember my dreams." "I will be lucid in my dreams." Then I fell back to sleep. I wrote everything down in my dream journal as soon as I had a chance to in the morning.
