Hey everyone, had a bit of a dry spell but i'm trying to get back to my dreaming practice now. Just a weird dream that i thought i'd share, as this has seemed to become the norm for my lucid experiences. I won't go through the whole dream, just the most important parts.
I'm in a large house that is very white and sterile looking. At one point in the dream i decide to go to bed, and as i'm trying to fall asleep i somehow become lucid. I spin, which seems to be the technique i always revert back to even though it has not worked out well for me as of late. Strange thing was, when i stopped spinning, what I saw was a map of the world. As i concentrated on it, it seemed as though i was looking at it on a computer screen, and it began to focus in on smaller and smaller sections of the map. eventually, the map disappeared completely and i was left looking at a newspaper article. This happened three times, and finally i got out of bed (in the dream still), and began to explain to the dream characters i was with what had just happened in my lucid attempts. Finally i woke up for real feeling very strange. Anybody ever had anything like this happen? It seems as though I dream about lucid dreaming more than i actually lucid dream lately. I feel like i'm stuck. It's interesting and all, but i'd really like to go back to the way i was dreaming before, when i would become lucid and really have complete conciousness. Does this make any sense to anyone? I'd really like some advice, but if what i am saying is unclear i would be happy to try to explain better. thanks in advance for any help
