Aight, yesterday i've read about a new method which was about RC'ing as often as possible in everyday life. Before i went to sleep i've done 2 RC's, with the nose, neck, and mental method. Later i went to sleep, and so i fell asleep... Aight what the dream was about: I have supposedly stabbed my own father (wtf i was like shocked and friggin frustrated, hell i was in panic...), later in the dream when i got back to myself after being in a shock i've done the reality check - now here's the thing, they all were positive (i could NOT breathe when i had my nose shut, i could feel my neck and it was perfectly fine (couldnt turn the head by 360, nor bend as hell), and also the mental check succeeded! (there was nothing weird going on around, aslo when i picked up a stone and threw it against a street sign, the stone just bounced off and i heard a loud bang! - so after i was 100% that this is not a dream (even though it was) i was still trying to wake up out of it, i was screaming, closing my eyes hoping i'd wake up in my bed, nothing helped... So the dream continued and i found myself having my dad in a bag (so i could burn him, to erase all traces), i started doing it and i also noticed there were some people with me, dunno who they were but they've helped me. And i think that this is where the dream ended. Also for one, i'd never stab my dad nor kill him or whatever (how the fuck could i even dream about this! it's pissing me off). Anyway there are loads of details i didnt mention which happened in the dream, as i've partially forgot about them, or possibly have a false illusion that i remember something more. Anyway, what do yout hink about this. Hell i was so happy i finally woke up in my bed...

Ouch, that's why I don't like RCs, if they don't work [and the won't work if you're thiking that if this was a dream then it'll work, you got to believe that you're dreaming even though you're not and then do it, strange but true] they can scare the life out of you... What you need aren't faulty RCs, you need to find out your dreamsigns via dream journal, the dreamsigns will show up within a week or two of starting the dream journal, possibly sooner if someone else reads your dreams for you. But yeah, this is why I dislike RCs [ew, repetition]

Even when I'm completely sure I'm not in a dream and I do a RC anyway, it works out and I become lucid. The nose-plug rc has never failed me. We're all individuals and you might get such experiences, and maybe some others too, but claiming that it is the "truth" is not smart. Not everybody has such problems. On-topic, the dream you had was just you being unlucky. You could actually breath through your nose, and you could feel it, but either you weren't convinced, or maybe your mind tried to recreate the feeling you get, when you do it in the real world.

[/b] Actually, now that you ask, I don't remember. As for RCs, I'm not a fan because in dreams, regardless of how many or little I practice IRL, I never RC in my sleep, no clue why but that's how it is for me, but it's like you said, not everybody has such problems. Sorry if using the word 'true' sounds stupid of me to use, though it is and if you use such a word and can't refer back to the source it's useless and leaves the 'claimer' accountable towards anothers complaints. I'm just moderately brain-dead today...

Eh, I don't do RCs. I either just randomly become lucid or I think back to where I came from and I can't remember. Although I do them in RL anyway just so I can keep thinking about lucid dreams, so when I am dreaming I'll become lucid.

I have guilty dreams like that all the time. I actually prolly have had that same dream lol. Anyway, the Nose RC, which always gets me lucid never works 100% (in my case), a little air will get through, and you will think, well im not dreaming becuase a huge gust didnt go threw my nose, you have to realize that it dosnt work like that, and just go for it, try and levitate. :-) You have to realize that really if your pluggin your nose no air will get threw. I spend a whole dream doing nose RC's once and like 1/2 passing them and thinking, thats not good enough, and i just kept doing them. I wanted to put my face threw a window for being so dumb when i wokeup lol.

Anyway lol big time, also with the neck RC i meant checking if i could turn my head 360 grades, and if i could feel any resistance of my body on my back, and well i i couldnt turn my head by 360, and i felt my neck... zomg

If the neck rc didn't work, that just prooves that the neck rc ain't a good rc for you. Find another.

Actually yeah I've had dreams where I'm trying to hide bodies. They are so scary. I don't even know why I would dream them. In one I was trying to convince myself that it must be a dream because it was just too awful. Again, when I awoke, I was relieved.
