Meh, the best way to put it would be that a dreamguide is an uber-Dream Character. They don't respond to your questions with completely insane answers (well, they're not supposed to) and they can sometimes help you understand how to use your Lucid Dream abilities. I've never found such a character, but then, I've only had a couple LD's.

I have no idea whether or not I'll be able to find a dream guide (it's not like it's a proven phenomenon, nor, come to think of it, is it provable), but searching for one gives me a goal in my LD's.
