Lucid Without Rc

I was with a family of people and for some reason my dad had do go somewhere in this submarine thing and in mech armor, i asked me if i wanted to go but i said no thanks, we had to find some food so we found a lamb at i tried killing it with a stick to the head but it wouldn't die. we all joined in but stil it wouldn't die, it then ran of into a elevator and escaped. we thne ended up in a cheese & sticks factory, i thaught of stealing one but then i thaught it wasn't right. i then went on an escalator for the first time in my life. and slide down a slide full speed. i then was outside and i noticed people were using this paper to grant wishes, there was a annoying kid who kept bothering me so i couldn't use it yet. i then said "thats it" and tied the kid to a truck and pushed him into traffic. then i went over and used it. "i wish i was lucid." a wizard on a staff came flying over and said "so you want to be lucid eh?" he looked like seekers picture but with a hat. i then was able to fly around and stuff without doing a RC. I jumped along the buildings of london, and kicked some person in the face because he was trying to stop me. I then seen a wolf (the scare me alot in nightmares)it was one you would see in a horror movie, i then went over to it and kicked it's ass with a pichfork. i then thaught " i have the wishing paper" still and so i decided to summon a leprechaun and which i did. he was sitting on a stool with a funny pirates hat on with all the normal leprechaun cloths. i said "hey hows it going?" he said "fine" then he called me somthing long and i dont recall what he said. i then said "why are you being a fag?" he called me somthing else and dissapeared over the fence. i then decided to summon my dream guide "i summon my dream guide" ans a stand full of people poped up. i asked them all indavidually they all said a diffrent version of "i dont know" all in a ward groan matter. i then woke up

You don't need to an RC to know that you're dreaming. You just know, sometimes

RCs are just one of many types of tools that improve your odds of experiencing lucidity. Many LDs are triggered by noticing some sort of anomaly in the dream world (I'd guess you fell into this catagory). I believe many cases of "spontaneous lucidity" are also resultant of that same thing, just that the trigger may be forgotten. But, yes you're correct, RCs are not required but if you want to become a frequent LDer it sure helps.

[/b] i never actually thaught about it that way. thats cool! to bad i didn't ask him his name. argh! i wouldn't ask him but i would ask a group of randoms. he looked alot like seekers picture. but he had a hat. i think it's awsome to have a wizard dreamguide.

hmm, thatt's quite a cool dream, interesting that you had a DC tell you, that happened to me once and beleieve it or not i didnt become lucid Anyway good job, perhaps RC's can increase your chances even more?
