During my last lucid dream, I was trying to figure out how to stop the vibrations from occurring since I usually wake up when they get intense. I noticed that whenever I tried to exert some control over the dream or tried to rationalize what was going on, the vibrations would start, but whenever I just let the dream flow naturally without trying to exert control over it, they would stop, even though I still knew I was dreaming.

In August of last year, I became lucid in a dream and I didn't feel vibrations when I just looked at the people around me in my dreamscape (which happened to be a parking complex). However, I decided that since I was dreaming it was okay for me to just approach and interact with a girl with curly black hair standing around other people, someting I normally wouldn't do. I grabbed her arms and she backed away from me, looking a little confused but not scared. However, at that moment, I felt an intense goosebumps sensation that woke me up.

If anyone has any hints for stopping the vibrations other than going with the flow of the dream, I'd like to know them. I'd like to become more proficient at dream control, but I doubt I'll be able to if I keep feeling the vibrations that wake me up when I try to do something out of the ordinary in my dreams.
