Just last night I had an LD that was about two minutes long.

For some reason in my dream, I had been running around outside my apartment building in winter wearing only boxer shorts but as I rounded a corner, I suddenly was wearing jeans and a shirt. Ordinarily, my critical function would not be working on too high a level and I'd justify this somehow, but for some reason, I got lucky tonight and I became lucid!

It was exciting, but not as vivid as real life, because I was still somewhat immersed in the dream world (is it possible to be half-lucid?) My mother appeared and said something very strange and DC-like. I said "Screw this, I'm dreaming." And started flying. As I went up, I wondered whether I would fall and sure enough, as soon as doubt entered my mind, I fell. Back on the ground, my mother became very "out of character" and started saying things like, "Oh wow, it is a dream! So what are you gonna do now?"

I gave some thought to going and having crazy dream sex with somebody but decided instead to try and fly somewhere warmer (since I was "half-lucid", the cold still effected me.) Though as I flew up into the very hazy gray sky, since all the imagery was gone inside the clouds, my brain lost focus and the dream faded.

Is there any way to have more clear lucid dreams?

      "Gemcrum was sleeping.
      Crumgem as well.
The pallbearers lowered their bodies to hell.
Their shirtcuffs and beardroughs in morbid disarray,
The Brothers Crumm silent on their funeral day."

HEY! Congrats on your first one.

To increase LD clarity, I shout "INCREASE CLARITY" at the top of my voice, and think about how I could make it clearer. I've only done it twice, but it worked both times

      Congrats again

I also have my LD's fade when I enter the clouds, that's happened twice, and its like I have to work to keep the earth there. I think maybe verbal commands can help us.
