Yes, I finally was successful at a WILD. It was a very interesting thing because I remember going through the transition phase, and like feeling the vibrations (numbness), but I don't have a clue what I lucid dreamed about. Let me start from the beginning of my process, so that people can see how I did it.

I went to bed around 11:00, and I woke up at 5:00 in the morning. So that's a good 6 hours of sleep. So my alarm went off and I stayed in bed. If I were to get up or turn the light on, past experiences show that I would be too awake to even get back to sleep. Next, I stayed in bed and watched TV (specifically Girls Gone Wild) for 45 minutes. lol. I remember reading once that this would stimulate your mind, but leave your body still tired, which is perfect for this technique. Aright so now 45 min. is over and I shut off my TV, so I can relax.

OK, now it's time to WILD. The way I tried to relax was with the 61 point technique. I basically cleared my mind and tried not to think about anything, while going through the points of my body, trying to get each point to relax until it felt "dead". So I did this relaxing for about 30 minutes when I remember feeling a jolting. I would describe it as being a 1 second shaking period where I really felt like a was vibrating. In reality I wasn't, but for this short time it felt as if I was. Following the quick shaking sensation there was a numbness sensation. It's hard to describe it since I never felt it before, but it was a feeling of paralysis. Thats not to say, however, that if I tried to move I probably would be able to. Anyway, when I got this feeling I kinda knew what was happening, then I started to get excited (my downfall). Foolishly, I started telling myself "I am dreaming", and I even tried looking for any colors or images that may emerge. Here's a tip: When you start to go through this transitional phase just let things happen, and DO NOT focus on anything or freak out. As you may have heard you are supposed to just feel/watch it happen. Be a viewer. Aright, so at this point I lost all feeling of paralysis, and I became awake. I was very dissapointed, but this didn't stop me from trying again.

I started out again with the 61 point technique. This time though I remember only getting through like 5 points. Then I think I lost focus, and started thinking about other things. I'm not sure how much time went by when I felt the shaking again. I sort of remember thinking about random other things, and then all of a sudden, I was jolted. It was the same jolting I described earlier. This quick jolt actually brought my thoughts away from random things, and brought my attention to what was going on. *Keep in mind I say things like "get my attention", but I am like half asleep, so my "attention" is quite weak*. This time I didn't get too excited. I tried to just go with the flow. After a couple seconds of a paralyzed feeling I remember seeing brightness in the top right corner of my vision. Of course my eyes were closed, and the best way I can describe it was like it was a ball of fuzzy, bright light, in the top right of my closed eyes. I remember reading on this site that if you see any lights or images you are supposed to "move into them". That's exactly what I did. I kinda pictured "zooming in" on the light. When I did this my whole vision was now bright and white-ish. I sort of remember seeing like black and white images, and I remember myself trying to make them more clear. I wanted it to feel like a dream, not just some images. So what I did was focus on making the "scene" real, and "diving" into it.
The best way I can describe it is this way:
If you have ever done a Magic Eye, then you know it can be hard to see the image at first. You have to look at the image in a way that it will pop out at you. When you do finally see the image pop out at you, you'll find that it isn't hard to stay looking at the image. You can look around the page and try to figure out what exactly is the shape that is popping out. At this point it's almost hard to not look at the page without it popping out. You have to blink or look away to get out of it.
Anyway, when I saw these black and white images, it was like a Magic Eye because it took a couple seconds to focus on what I was looking at. When it did focus, though, it became clear as day.

You can imagine the excitement I was trying to hold back here. Well because of all this excitement the lucid dream didn't last longer than 10 seconds (I think). But then in my dream I remembered the spinning technique, and so I started spinning in my dream. I did this because I could feel the dream weakening, and I know the spinning is supposed to keep it going. Anyway, I did the spinning (during the spinning everything was black, except for a green sphere in the middle of my vision - kinda odd), and I expected to see I whole different scene around me. The scene took a couple seconds of focusing to take shape, but when it did I remember it being different from the original. Now I was lucid dreaming again, and it lasted a while longer. I can't really remember how long.

Whats worse is I can't really remember what I lucid dreamed about. I know I did though because I remember moving into the white light and the images becoming "real". But after the lucid experience I woke up within another dream. I don't know if any of you have experienced that, but it's kinda weird. I've never done that before. I actually woke up in my bed, but it was only a dream about me waking up in my bed. Unfortunately, I didn't realize I was still dreaming.

In this "after-dream" I remember my Mom walking in my room to change a bowl of water that was hanging off my wall. It was as if I had a bird, and it needed some water. She walked out with the water dish, and came back with it full. She placed it somewhere else on the wall, and I said something that made her realize the water dish was placed in the wrong spot, and it shouldn't be full. She commented, and said something like "Oh I'm so out of it" or something like that. It's kinda funny thinking back on, but all that is really un-important.

So that's basically my lucid experience, and I hope others can simulate what I did to help them achieve lucidity via WILD. I must admit when I finally woke up for real I was amazed at how awesome the whole process was. Maybe next time I'll be able to remember what I dreamed about.

The biggest misconception I had was being a lot less aware of everything than I thought I would be. I remember reading WILD tutorials, and the people would say that they had to focus on images, and enjoy the show...etc. In reality your body as well as your mind is so tired, and "out of it" that these things happen very suddenly, and quickly, and the memory of it all is very fuzzy. This could just be because I'm new to it, but that's just something to keep in mind if you try it. OK Good luck everyone.

sweet wild man so how were the vibrations? pretty crazy huh? it'll get easier from now on hopefully.

yeah man thats how it is for me too. one second you are sitting there, relaxed, and the next second you're in for a wild ride lol I will say tat i am oppisite to you on it being all fuzzy. My wilds are usually the clearest most realistic lds. im most aware in them too. It might have been fuzzy for you though cause you lost your lucidity though. Oh well the important thing is that you made it man! the holy grail of techniques is that much closer to being mastered! good luck man hope you have many more wilds in the future.

Regarding when you woke up into another dream, that's called a false awakening. They're fairly common, especially among people who practice lucid dreaming. Just get in the habit of doing a reality check whenever you wake up, and you can turn them into lucid dreams.

Also, it's pretty easy to achieve them in other lucid dreams as well, and thus, extend your lucid dreams. In a lucid dream, even when the dream is almost completely faded away, if you spin, or really do anything that creates the feeling of motion, and tell yourself you'll have a false awakening, chances are that you will awaken in a dream instead of for real.
