      The beginning...

A few months ago I decided to take up Lucid dreaming once more (it had been a passing hobby when I was quite young, too young to really grasp it.) So I did for a while. Unfortunately, I had no good results. I was writing my dreams down, I convinced myself I was going to do it and well, I eventually did it once, for about a minute.

It was nothing extraordinary to the experienced out there but the place I was at was just a bright white area, I could see my hands in the air and I could feel an intense wind all over my body. Somehow I knew I was dreaming... I became excited, I woke up.

I stopped after that, I think i lost my faith. Just recently (two days ago) though I was talking to one of my friends and overheard him say that he had a dream that he HAD to tell everyone at lunch. So he tells us the story of this awesome dream (which I won't get into for the sake of his privacy) and said that he could "feel" everything and control everything that was going on.

He had never had one of those dreams before and later on I characterized it for him as a Lucid Dream. I think that brought me back on track, knowing that someone in the same town essentially, was able to attain this. I know I kind of steer off topic but this is the new beginning to my Lucid Dream research (I'm new here as well) So as far as sharing, the above was the dream, and the below was the results that brought me back to trying. I am a "new" dreamer but I believe I have the ability to do this now.

      Hey welcome!

Glad you chose to try again. Usually a person only needs patience to be able to have a LD. It just takes a while and some perseverance. Good luck, and it's definitely worth it!
