My First Lucid Dream!

So I've been trying to have lucid dreams for just about a month now and I finally had my first one last night. I have had a mental block that lucid dreaming being something that was too hard for me. I have been getting disappointed and actually didn't try anything for 2 days just to see if maybe I was just trying to hard. Last night however I fell asleep telling myself that lucid dreaming is possible for me and I really meant it too. It worked. Now for the dream. I was at school in a phy ed class and we were all getting yelled at by a janitor because we were wearing shoes in the school. I thought it was a bit ridiculous but I didn't think anything of it and said that it wasn't us. Well at one point I just realized I was dreaming and nothing really triggered it but I just knew. I did a nose RC just to make sure and I was dreaming. It was such a great feeling at that point that I started to wake up. I kept my eyes closed and everything was black and I was hearing voices and people talking. I didn't know if I opened my eyes if it would be my real eyes or dream eyes so I took a chance. I was in a classroom so I did another RC to make sure I just wasn't napping in school. I was still dreaming. I ran out in the hall and de-pants the janitor that was yelling at me. This janitor was short, fat, and hairy, and actually isn't a janitor at our school. Well he was wearing a superman thong so I punched him in the gut. I then went back to the classroom I was in because my teacher was in there. This teacher is actually one of my teachers and she is the most beautiful woman I have ever seen in my life. She has just gotten out of college and has a perfect body and a beautiful face.. Anyways... I walked up to her and apologized for the outburst of punching the janitor but she laughed and then she said thank you for sticking up for me (she was my phy ed teacher also in the dream and was getting yelled at with us) and she kissed me and then we made out intensely for the next 2 minutes. I've never actually felt any love for her in real life but in the dream I guess I did because making out seemed like a better idea then flying and looking for the easter bunny but oh well. Everything suddenly went into slow motion and faded to black. I woke up. I was so excited that I just had a lucid dream and I wanted to find the easter bunny so I tried to fall back asleep. I was attempting to do a WILD to get back into a dream but I couldn't calm my mind down enough. So I woke up 2 hours earlier then I wanted. And that was my first lucid experience. Thanks Moonbeam for your support and help and hopefully I will have many more lucid dreams.

Congratulations, I'm sure you'll have many more soon. :) And next time don't waste your precious lucid dreams making out with your hot teacher, you can do that IRL instead. :) Just kidding, well done. :)

Yay, that is a great first lucid! I can't believe all the stuff you did! And really good job getting back into the dream when you started to wake up, that usually takes some practice but you did it right off. Amazing! I'm so proud! I knew if you kept thinking about it, it would happen. I hope this helps other people who are struggling to have their first lucid--just don't give up. Keep thinking about it, talking about it, doing RC's, reading about it--and it will happen.

But yeah it did feel very real and I actually stoped a couple times and did some RC's to make sure that I was dreaming. I was actually hoping the RC's wouldn't work and it was RL but I was dreaming.
