I have only had 2 lucid dreams both of which were very short. (At least the parts where I was lucid)

This is the first one:

I started off on some sort of bus, and the bus driver was driving out of control. I remember thinking I was going to die. I jumped out of the window, and was suddenly walking to my old house with my cousin karlyn. When we got home, she transformed into my friend Aaron, who then ditched me to go play donkey kong on the super nintendo .

I got up and started to walk upstairs, but as I walked past the calender, I read it. It read, "Welcome, lucid bastard! The current date is Octagon". Oddly enough I found that to be perfectly logical in the dream. When I read it again, it said "Names 19", which also seemed perfectly normal to me, except that that's not what it said before.

I am now lucid I was by myself still in the house. I got really excited and everything was very staticy. I remember feeling like I was watching myself dream at the same time as dreaming. It was weird. I tried to see if I could walk through a wall. I walked up to a wall, and walked directly into it, and it hurt. Then I tried to push my hand through a table. At this point everything was turning very staticy and it was becoming hard to see. Then I woke up. I was excited but dissapointed that I couldnt' really control anything.

Dream number two In this dream I was lucid the whole time. I got out of bed, and the ceiling of my room was transparent. I saw my hands and remembered that seeing my hands was my trigger to do a reality check. I ran upstairs and noticed that i seemed to be moving nearly three times as fast as I can in the waking world. I wasn't doing it on purpose. Then for the hell of it I just tried body spinning. It felt wonderful! I was very excited. Just as in the other dream, I couldn't walk through walls or fly. After a while I just faded out of it.

I don't get it...if you're aware in a dream, how come you can't always control the dream?

Thanks for taking the time to read this, everyone
