      Sad

I think I had my first LD last night. I had a dream I was at my aunts house in Florida but suddenly I found myself in a battlefield of WW2. I was fighting in france with the Americans and it was a rough fight. Someone fought along side of my (it could have been my dream guide) and we spoke a few words everyonce in awhile. anyways a airplace was shot down so me and my friend (possibly dreamguide) ran for it to see if there were any survivors. once there , there where Germans and Japanies soldiers. there was a sniper who spotted me and I ran for it and I was running in the battlefield towards a farm house. I suddenly found myself in someones bedroom while I was being shot at. I found an old lady there and I told her my problem so she said I could stay. I walked in the hall way and people kept coming up the stairs and I heard the feet but it was always making me panic because it could have been the sniper. anyone who came up didnt pay attention to me except someone who seemed to own the house. He gave me a guitar to go play on the streets of France (for some unkown reason) and a harmonica. We jammed a bit and suddenly he fell dead on the ground. I felt very sad and in the dream I had felt great pain like I lost someone I cared about. I turned around and the sniper was there so I beat him up. I woke up then. I found I actually had tears in my eyes because I had to wipe my eyes.

Could this actually be a Ld ??

I don't think so. Did you at any point realise you were dreaming? If not, then no.
      But don't give up

i think that when a dream reaches you on a level where it affects you in waking life (enough to cry or laugh about) you have something that could be useful in having LDs, but the problem is that we get so wrapped up in 'deep meaning' dreams like these. Just try to remember each time you get upset, think 'i wish this was a dream' and if it is, you will know, and then you'll believe again, but repeat the procss and focus on changing something like the the colour of the walls or something and you should become lucid, but dont give up if it takes a while, good luck xxx.
