Exclamation what happened!? dream in reality!?!

ok, the weirdest thing happened last night.

i was going to bed and i braught the phone into my room, it sat next to me and i was about to go to sleep, then the phone rang. my brother grabbed it and started talking. i look at the wall to go to sleep again and i seen a craddle spider, he was crawling on the wall to my bed.

(here is where it got weird)

i watched the spider getting closer to my bed, then half of him dissapeared! then all of him dissapeared on the wall! so just happend!?

      am i going insane?!

      please reply!

It disappeared behind your blanket. You didn't realize it, because it was too dark.

I don't know your situation but, a lot of times when I first awaken in the morning, I see a black, fuzzy spot in my vision. I only ever notice it on the white wall. It tends to evade the direct gaze and fades within a few seconds. It has the appearance of a good-sized spider, kind of fuzzy and not clearly defined.

In my case, I believe it's something to do with the visual system maybe not being fully functional for a few moments, almost like the "blind spot" has been temporarily relocated. I've been trying to figure out what's going on in my case but haven't come up with a very convincing hypothesis.

Either way, mine is only an illusion and I suspect yours was too.

Oh, in that case, I guess it was just a weird form of HI. Could you see the legs and hair in detail, or was it just a black spot moving around?

As a child I used to regularly halucinate spiders when I was sleepy, sometimes I would squash them on the wall, only to pull my hand away and find nothing there, some of them were huge = (

You're obviously hallucinating. Nothing to worry about. Perhaps see a psychologist?
Currently practicing WILD. I quote Kaniaz who said it best: "The point of WILD is to piss me off". Though, I have not given up, far from it.

Bohman, why would you see a psychologist for hallucinations? There are other professions better suited to deal with this.

Methinks there is something wrong with your vision. If you are in a dark room, things get blurry. I once lived in a house with glow-in-the-dark stars on the ceiling. They seemed at least three times as bright when they were in the corner of my eye rather than when they were in the center of my vision. Focusing on a single object for too long (especially in the dark) does some freaky things to your vision. I could provide some personal examples (ten minutes, one dot. I saw pretty stripes in the background!)... But I won't delve too deeply.

My point is, don't worry. You're fine.

Yeah, there's nothing wrong with you, that's for sure. I was once relaxing, with closed eyes, and suddenly I got this vivid image, of a big spider crawling directly towards me. I opened my eyes after like 1 second of this intense image, but wasn't really scared, more like I was amazed. Interesting.
