In the Hitch Hichers Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams, there is a pretty neat explanation of how to fly, and I'm positive that it will work in your dreams.
The whole whying thingie starts with doing a very easy thing:
Find a bit of flat land, a lawn or so (or the edge of a volcano, your choice)... make sure to find the balance, stand with your foots close to each other, and just relax. Put your arms stright out, like a couple of wings. And the, you just close your eyes, takes some deep breaths... You let yourself fall forward, and the only thing, the ONLY thing you should do, is to not think about the fact that you're falling. Think of your dirty laundry or your girlfriend.
And that's it. You should just trow yourself at the ground, and miss. If there is any doubt that you won't fly, you won't fly. And when you're in the air, don't fall down. Don't think like "Hey, I'm flying, it can't be, this is impossible." then you will be falling down to the ground in a alarming speed. If this happends, just concentrate of something else. You KNOW that you are dreaming, and therefore you should not worry about the ground coming at you. Think of the dirt under your carpets and so on, it really helps.
Just trow yourself at the ground, and miss.
Or do like I do, (or neo in matrix revolutions), just make the highest jump you ever have made.
Good luck and have fun, i hope i've helped you a bit.
