First Mirror Experience

woke up today when my girlfriend had to go to work, it was only after about 3hrs of sleep, but i tried to take the b-6 again last night after reading a lot of posts. I started to kinda wild and the next thing i see is my cats jumpin all over my bed and on my pillow, annoying me as usual. And then I was on a different bed (dreaming now) and i was playin with my brother except that he was a baby, he is 19 now. After playin with him for a minute I realized I was lucid and remembered what i've been wanting to do since learnin how to LD. Walked out into the hallway and saw a bathroom at the end of the hallway, finally I found my mirror. Touched it with my finger and it had the weird liquid metal effect and it was cool. so i got up the nerve and jumped in the thing. well it didnt take me anywhere else, it just stretched out as a balloon as i struggled inside it. It was making screeching metal noises and i kept walking back stretching out the mirror more and more. after a while it started gettin kinda tight in there and so i turned around and jumped back out, but i think i lost my legs in the process or something and i woke up.... cant wait to try it again~~

awesome im going to experiment with a mirror tonight when i have a successfully long lucid dream unless i can fly first

Try building your confidence up a little more when you do it. Just remember anythings possible never forget that. I used to get that Metal Liquid effect also, kinda like the First Matrix when Neo touched that broken Mirror. Now I just jump in one and it usually takes me to another dream setting.

Cool! Remember, there are more things you can do with a mirror other than jumping through it! Take a little time to observe yourself first. Remember what you see, then jump through it! I've got to find a mirror again soon. Mirrors are one of the coolest things in the LD reality!

This is as cool of an Idea as the telephone tecnique! That was a neet dream. - Good luck with the next one monkeyElk! I had a dream that was not Lucid and when I looked into the miror my face turned into a Demon. I hope this does not effect a lucid dream expieriance. You know how it is when somthing gets in your mind. You can try to override it but it is still there.

thanks for the advice guys, but I was happy with my dream, but next time i'll try and take a look and see what I look like. My LDs are still sooo very short though, like minutes long, and they never have given me any kind of sign to show that they are ending so i could do a prolonging technique.

I've done te mirror thing in the past before, and got the liquid effect at first. But I commanded the mirror to do something else, and was teleported to a scene in my childhood. My mind seems to really like my childhood.
