      Limited In a Lucid Dream

To induce lucid dreams I use something similar to the WBTB method along with naps. The first time I used this method I got a fairly bad nightmare. The second time (today) I thought I had a lucid dream, but I honestly don't know what to call it. I was limited in my actions, but at the same time I had control...

Like in all my other lucid dreams I wake up in my dream bed. I look at my hand, realize I am dreaming and become lucid. I decide to walk outside, but almost immediate I receive worried feelings and question whether this is a dream or not when I would normaly not question these things. Though I had or thought I had control of myself, my emotions and eventually my actions were overcome by this and apparently I lost lucidity and walked back home.

I'm guessing I just need to experience more lucid dreams in order to learn how to get more control over my dreams. That, or my method needs to be changed or worked on. I just hope I haven’t "ruined" the way I dream.

Aw, of course you haven't "ruined" anything. Yeah it's tricky to maintain lucidity. A good thing to do would be to do multiple reality checks at the beginning of the dream to really convince yourself that it's a dream. As you walk around your dreamscape, touch things every now and then. Touch the grass or the walls or rub your hands, just to keep your mind focused and increase lucidity.

By the way, I like cows too!
