Passive vocabulary in LDs

I haven't had an LD yet but I want to do the following thing as soon as I become a bit more advanced: There are, as you probably know, active and passive vocabulary. The passive vocabulary is supposed to be all hidden in the subconscious part of one's mind. Now I'd like to try once in an LD whether I manage to summon a book about my passive vocabulary. Such as: "stuetzl's passive vocabulary, by stuetzl"... You know, what I mean. For I'm not a native English speaker I could perhaps learn some words that I actually know but not actively, with the aid of this book... Now I'm curious if someone already had a similar idea. If yes, tell me about it, if not, would you mind trying? I'd be really looking forward to getting some replies, for I can't yet try it on my own... stuetzl

This would be great for me re-learning all the Spanish that I've consciously forgot! That and my Tagalog, Chinese, Japanese, etc. yay! I can re-learn bits of languages again, this is a wonderful idea.

Ohh you are right in my LD I was pretty good at Japanese (or at least I thought I was?) I was talking in Japanese with a Asian girl and understood what she was saying and she understood what I was saying which I found odd, because there is no way in real life I would be able to carry on a conversation in Japanese with what I have learned.

Thats pretty cool - I once had a girl speak Russian in a dream to me, well she said one word actually lol.
