Thread: Strange LD...

Ok, this isn't really about what happened in my LD, because it was short and not very vivid, but how it was induced. I think this was like a mix of DEILD+hypnagogic(sp?) hallucinations. So two nights ago I woke up in the middle of the night, just after having a dream, and I didn't open my eyes nor move. Instantly, I heard a voice say "Do you want a lucid dream?" and in my mind I responded "Yes".

Then, my body felt as if it was sliding around my bed and as if it was being stretched apart (it was not painful however, and it felt pretty nice). This happened for about 5 seconds and when it stopped, I did a reality check with my eyes still closed and I was in fact dreaming. I heard the same voice ask "Are you excited?" and I again replied "Yes" in my mind.

I then got out of my bed, conjured a sword, and then my LD ended. I never looked back to see if my body was still in my bed, so I could have had an OBE.

So, do you think this was an OBE, and when I heard that voice, do you think I was actually dreaming and was just having a false awakening, or could I have really hallucinated the sliding and stretching and the voice? Thanks!
