2nd (short) WILD! (need help prolonging it)

Hello! I've been on a holiday to the UK for the past 3 weeks, so last night after napping a few times in the day, a jetlagged me (9hours time difference ) decided to go to bed. I thought I might as well try WILDing because the jetlaggedness had probably affected my REM sleep too.
So I went to bed but set an alarm for 5 hours later, and tried to WILD.
I slowly relaxed myself, with steady breathing and repeating I was dreaming. I must have almost lost conciousness when what seemed like a short time later I suddenly felt the familiar rapidly falling through my bed.
This time fell onto my bed, and although I was sleeping on a mattress, I knew that I was in a dream because I was in my normal raised bed and my arm was hanging off! I don't know why but I could hear something about Alice in Wonderland playing in the background. I did a RC without moving by blocking my throat and sure enough I was dreaming. I moved my hand to get up, and I really woke up
So I did a RC to make sure I wasn't dreaming and sure enough it was reality. I lay there for what seemed like ages hoping to get back into the dream but I didn't...

The alarm would have gone off 5 hours later, but I woke up feeling awake at 4 hours later due to jetlag. I turned the alarm off, stayed up for about 30 min then tried to WILD. I didn't get very far and fell straight asleep.

Any ideas about how I can prolong the WILD? Because I didn't really get a chance to physically stablise the dream. I had my first WILD about a month ago and that lasted what felt like 5 min and I woke up again feeling awake but with an incredibly sore stomach (turns out I had food poisoning, which is what I blamed for waking up). It makes me now think that maybe I didn't wake up because I had a sore stomach... maybe it was something to do with being a newbie to WILDing :p

I'd wait until you got rid of the Jetlag from what I heard it's 1 day for every hour of jetlag or something like that so once you are back on a normal schedule I would give it another go.
And why would you want to prolong the WILD? You could move that would make it longer, and you could keep very aware that would prolong it.

When I say I want to prolong the WILD, I mean make the LD longer not the actual WILDing experience. :p Sorry if that was unclear, I'm still tired.

I have been having the same problem with wilds all my life. I can get into them pretty easy most of the time. But I wake up just after a moment of looking around. I have tried spinning a few times, to try and keep myself in it.
But it hasn't helped at all. But they are still fun and fascinating.

Im no expert or anything, how I wish i was and how i wish i would get lucid more often, maybe you should just do your reality check like you do already, but then since moving your body in your dream affects your real life, try first to just look. look around and gather in all your surroundings and then mayeb that might stabalize the dream.

I also as in jetlag, and still am abit, But i think jet lag would be better because you go to bed more tired and you can wake up 3-4 hours later and try to wild.

      best of luck to yoU!
Dreaming is forgetting the basis of reality, remembering it is to be lucid.

Thanks! After reading Clarity's wilding tutorial, I see that she has written that she waits until the 2nd onset of the falling sensation until she actually gets up/rolls off. I might try that... Although I haven't ever gotten into a wild like that before.
