There's something about Selphie

This one of the longest dreams I've written in my Dream Journal to date... With the added bonus of Lucidity! Mmmm... good! I was at my aunts place and I was going to drive somewhere with my cousin and my brother. We drove for a while, eventually we reached a place where we could see the beach. I drove us down towards it and I "cut the curb" so to speak, driving over a large patch of grass and almost hitting some people and a rather large tree. Somehow we had ended up in Byron Bay (Queensland's Hippy Central, Full to the brim with new-age stores and no McDonalds) We got out of the car in the parking lot of some kind of shopping centre and we went around checking out stores and other areas. After a while of being in the centre, we managed to piss off these three girls who for some reason were almost naked from being at the beach or something. We were running from them as they chased us around the place we were. As we ran I recognised one of the girls in the group as a girl from my class named Selphie. (I don't really have someone in my class named Selphie, she was the one from Final Fantasy 8, great game that... anyway) I skidded forward and ran back, tripping two of the girls over and running away again. They chased us through Byron Bay and eventually they got in front of me and the two I didn't recognise had one of those trolley things that you put boxes on and wheel around. One was riding on it and the other was pushing it. I grabbed it from the one pushing it and with the other girl still on it I rolled it at high speeds at Selphie and the one I stole it off. I saw they had another trolley as it careened into theirs. We ran as they tried to pick themselves up and eventually lost them. As we reached the car and we started to drive home I thought how good it would be to visit Selphie in my lucid dreams! *Dream fast forwards* I was at home and I eventually started sleeping. I must have begun to dream as I was back in Byron Bay. I didn't clearly know it was a dream yet but I had low level awareness. I went through the town asking people if they knew where Selphie lived and eventually I ended up coming to her house. I went inside and it was like one of those apartment buildings with the spiralling staircases around the edge. I got to the front room in her house and there was a woman sitting there who I recognised as her mother. She was sitting there with this little kid, he was Selphies brother, his name was Tidus and he was a loon. There's no nice way to put it, this kid was dribblin', making wierd noises and jumping around and shit. I asked her mother where Selphie was. She pointed towards a door at the back of the room which led towards the back of the house. I walked over to it and went into it. I came into a room with two beds in it and two more boys in there. One of them was her brother and the other on was his friend that was staying over. I asked them if Selphie was around and they pointed twards a door on the back wall. Walking up to the door I noticed that it was one of those wooden doors that has a metal groove instead of a handle and slides across. I grabbed the door and pulled it across. I looked inside and Selphie was in there fixing her hair and stuff. Noticing I was there, she said "Close the door now!" So I closed it, not being one to intrude. I waited in the room with her brother for her to finish up. I got bored after a while and started snooping around her brother's room. After walking around peering at stuff that could be of interest, I spotted something that looked suspiscious on top of a clothes cupboard leaning against the wall. It looked like he was hiding something up there since nobody in the house was tall enough to reach it... but I was. I walked over to the cupboard and looked on top and saw that there was something up there wrapped in brown paper. I noticed her brother got edgy and obviously didn't want me looking at it. I stopped looking at it, assuming it was probably his porno stash or something and I decided to let it be, I knew what young guys were like. I heard a noise from the bathroom, it was Selphie telling me I could come in. I went into the bathroom and my brother was suddenly next to me, we looked in the room and their was a wall obstructing the view of the the whole room, but we could see the lower-half of some kind of charred body being electrocuted on some kind of restraining table. I couldn't see the rest of the body as it was blocked by the wall. I walked forward into the room and saw sparks and stuff, but I didn't look at the table. I leaned against a medicine cabinet as the realisation that this was a dream crystallised in my mind. My brother tapped me on the shoulder as I leaned against the cabinet facing the wall. I didn't turn around because I knew that if I looked at whatever was happening would cause me to wake up. "Hey, Its her..." He said to me. "No... This is a dream and that CLONE is not her...." I replied struggling to maintain lucidity as I became weaker and things got blurry. (Which seems to happen whenever I get a decent bout of Lucidity ) I started to chant to myself "Increase Lucidity, Increase Lucidity, Increase Lucidity" Everything cleared and I stood up and turned around to see my brother gone and Selphie standing behind me with her hands on her hips. She looked at me and said "What do you want?" I said to her "I recognised you today and I thought how cool it would be to visit you" She got angry at something why I was here in a dream instead of coming there awake. I said to her "Why would I haul my awake ass ALL the way down to Byron Bay when I could just come visit you in a dream?" Everything started to fade again so I started chanting "Increase Lucidity" to myself again. Everything became clear again and we began talking. We talked for a while and eventually I had to go or something ans she said "Maybe I'll visit you in your dreams sometime" I laughed and said "I'd like that..." Everything began to become white and I woke up. ... When I woke up I sat up in bed and I was really tired I looked up and saw my brother in my room looking in my cupboard and he was saying "Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god! Oh my god! " really fast. "Ugh... What?" I asked him tiredly, wondering what the heck he was on about. "I had a dream where I we went and saw Selphie in Byron Bay and I saw her brothers and.... Oh my god!" He jumped around. My stomach wrenched. "What?!" I yelled almost jumping out of bed in bewilderment. He stopped forraging in my cupboard and handed me a Red Dragon Plushie. .... Then I woke up. As many of you may be wondering about why I didn't realise that I didn't really know a Selphie thats actually a really good question. For some reason, as aware as I was and as vivid as that LD was, I seemed to never cease to belive that I actually knew her... Go figure. Perhaps a false memory for the dream that never went away until I actually woke up...

Pretty Cool! Maybe you do know Selphie. Or maybe she is symbolic for someone else you know?

How do you remember so much of a single dream?! I only remember bits and pieces of dreams!

Oh dear. You know you've been playing FF too much when you start dreaming it. I've completed 8 three times (although FF5 is the best) but have never dreamt it. Was Tidus also in it, or did you just use that name?

Add a little more to that one and wala! You would be the author of a cool book. Since dreams Characters (This is what I believe) are just made up figmintations from your subconcious, could Selphie have been someone else that you DO know. Same Characteristics and such? So many theories. You cannot rule out anything. When I say That is somthing I believe it is just what I myself have personally expierianced. But astral projection, 'de javu', other realms, Who knows. they are all possibilities.
