weird dream..and question

hey guys, Now i dont remember that well, because my dream re-call isnt too great but ill tell you about it. I also have a couple of questions and such. Now i went to bed around 12 something last night. Now heres a part i dont re-call..i remember i had woken up around 5 to go the bathroom but i dont know if this next part happened the second time i went back to sleep or the first time which was 12 at night. So im in my dream and i dont know if it was a nightmare or something that was impossible happened to occur during the dream but i realized that i was dreaming and then i remembered the reality checks like look at words three times and see if they change every time and the whole look at the details of your hands. I also remembered to spin in order to create a scene. I believe i tried entering the dream when i remember a method saying focus on a landscape and just imagine yourself flying into it and i did it. Shortly after i did that i said to myself in my dream " wow this must be my first lucid dream" My question is based on the information i gave you was that technically a lucid dream?

Yes it is! A lucid dream is simply a dream where you realize you are dreaming. Most people say "Well, you have to have control" or something. THIS IS FALSE. Having control of the dream is a higher step in lucid dreaming. So congrats! you just had a lucid dream!
