Time Is Nothing But An Idea. (Incubation - LOONNNG DREAM.)

Today I had my fifth lucid dream ever, also the fifth this month, and it was the most incredible thing I've ever experienced. You've been warned, this is a LONG READ, and I won't highlight when I'm lucid, as it's pretty much the entire dream. Time dilation/incubation was heavily involved. I WILL MARK TIME DILATION IN THIS COLOR. Fasten 'dem belts.

I was on a mountain. There was a huge group of people up there with me, everyone getting ready to watch EuroTrip (just watched the night before). My mom brought everyone this treacle tart oatmeal crunch balls, and we began eating them rapidly. (Everyone knew they were made with ganja.) They were quite possibly the most delicious thing I've ever had. All of a sudden, I started to feel extremely woozy, and felt my frame of mind change. Everything snapped back, and I was lucid. I looked at my hands and couldn't help but marvel at the detail and life-like look of them. I jumped up, and told my sister and mom that we should leave. Why watch EuroTrip at a time like this? My sister and I got on her back, as she ran down the mountain. I was abruptly separated from them, and they vanished from the dream. I began trying to fly in all ways imaginable, waving my arms frantically, slowly, running forward and jumping, blasting toward the sky, but none of it worked. I remained a victim of gravity. A few DCs and I went down to a tennis court, and two of them began playing. I ran into the court, and began jumping around, catching balls. I began to rub my hands together once again, and sighed in appreciation at how the entire dreamscape brightened and became sharper. I left the DCs playing in the tennis court, and went out into a clearing. I stared up at the sun/moon (couldn't distinguish, the brightness was in-between.), and attempted, once again, to shoot up towards it like a torpedo. Nothing. Everything became very dark, and I could feel myself waking up. I began rubbing my hands frantically, and stared at them as determinedly as I could. Slowly, everything came back, and I was back in the dream with just as much clarity as before. I reaffirmed the fact I was lucid, and began to roam the town. I found my dad, and asked him if he was having a lucid dream as well. He nodded, and I made a mental note to ask him in the morning. I told him to look at his hand, which he did. I then told him to rub his hands together, and I smiled as he let out a gasp of awe and began declaring the clarity and realness of the dream. I laughed, and asked him to help my fly. He told my to spin my arms in large, clockwise circles. I do so, and he grabs onto my back. He begins running at an extremely fast speed, and launches me into the air with all his strength. I continue spinning my arms, and feel wind catch under my arms. It only lasted a moment, and I plummeted down into a pillowy bush. My dad was then gone from the dream. I could feel that time was running short, so I ran around the town, looking for an opaque door to use. All the doors in the town are made of glass. Finally, I spotted a glass door which I'm sure is my house, though it looked nothing like my real house. I went towards it, and was struck with worry that I'd encounter my sleeping body in the house and wake up. (I'm not eager to try the LD challenge of this month, as you can see.) I entered the glass door anyway, and looked about. I saw my bedroom door, the only one made of wood, and began thinking very hard to myself. "When I enter this doorway, I will be atop a beautiful snowy mountain peak near the town, and my lucid will last for two days." I opened the door and walked in. I looked around questioningly. It looked like a small bathroom, definitely not the mountain top I asked for. I spun around, imagining the mountaintop. Nothing happened. I stood there, rubbing my hands for a while, and all of a sudden, I was sucked into a plastic envelope, which opened seconds later to deposit me, indeed, atop a snowy mountain. As soon as I landed on the mountaintop, all my dream fatigue (feeling like I'm about to wake up - not sure if I coined the term or not.) had vanished. I realized, however, that I hadn't been able to fly throughout the entire dream, so I couldn't get off the mountain into the town. I turned around, and exited through the door back into my house. I began to stroll the town a bit more, noticing that I felt a lot less fatigued than I had before visiting the mountain, yet more so than while I was on it's peak. (Peak from the oatmeal crunch?) I noticed a skateboarding park off to the side of the town, and wandered towards it, all the while rubbing my hands. I began trying to fly off of half pipes and such, to no avail. (I can't actually skate in real life, BTW) There was a DC trying to fit these strange acceleration ramps onto the skating bowl, so I came up to him, took a ramp, and stuck it to the half-pipe easily, and went to go put a second on the other end. The DC desperately told me not to, but I did so anyway, disregarding him. I began trying to skate into flight for about a minute or so, when this extremely quirky, bouncy girl came to the park. She was, for no reason in particular, instantly infatuated with me. She seemed crazy, and I became fairly nervous. Anyhow, she claims me as her own, and begins to talk about our life together - marriage, children, the whole deal. At this point, I was extremely scared, and ran away from her into the town, which, at the moment, seemed to be a produce grocery store. I ran back to my house, and walked through the wooden door without making a real intention, only to get away from the pursuing girl. The same thing happened, an empty bathroom, only to be sucked away by a small plastic envelope. I was then deposited into a world that seemed like a wide range of technology, people using their computers to access files, the internet, etc. I was only onlooking, and I was disappointed to have no will upon anything whatsoever. It was as if I was simply a third person omnipotent being observing everything going on around me. I turned around once again, and walked out the door. I went to my sister, and told her excitedly that I've been LDing for exactly four hours (Hope I don't have to explain that obvious reference). She told me that means I'll be waking up very soon. I denied it with all my might, wanting it to last much longer. A rebellion then broke out in the town, and many angered civilian DCs ran towards the city square with bricks in their hands to barricade it. I grabbed a DC friend I've never seen in my life, and brought him to the door. I told him we were going to teleport to somewhere with an infinite supply of bricks to use (This felt a lot like the Room of Requirement from Harry Potter), but before I could open the door, I woke up.

Wow, so, yeah, this felt extremely long, the four hour remark I made feels right on the mark. Really glad I'm having so many lucid dreams in such a short period of time. There you go. Time incubation. Really cool, and I feel if I stayed in any of the doors for more than a few minutes, the time I specified really would have manifested itself. I'll be thinking of a specific place I'll want to go for the next few days, and take advantage of it the next LD I have.

WOW.. that was quite a dream!

I loved that your dad showed up and that you had him rub his hands together and he experienced the awe of things becoming more vivid and how he helped you to fly!

Rubbing your hands together seems to work REALLY well for you (I need to make a note to do that more often)!

There is just sooo much to your dream, the mountaintop, your dad, skateboarding, a female stalker, a techno world, your sister, etc.!

I envy you this dream and your recall of it!

      Bravo!!

That dream is truly awesome! Rubbing my hands works well for me too, but I hardly have enough lucids to try it out in. But I'll do it sometime soon for sure. Excellent dream once again!

Thanks for the reply! Yeah, it was definitely the most monumental dream I've had as of yet, 100% because of the clarity. Length isn't the biggest issue as I'm confident I'll have hundreds more LDs, but the amount of clarity offered by the hand-rubbing etc. Was AMAZING. Unbelievable. I'll make sure to do some more time incubation ASAP. As for the recall, it was actually primarily because of how I recorded it. I woke up, grabbed my phone, turned on the audio recorder, and recited the dream as fast as possible into the phone, even as I did so, I was very close to forgetting two of the big plot points, barely grasping it right after I thought I was done. I'm sure if I wrote the entire dream down immediately, I'd have forgotten way more, and it would've been less ingrained in my mind. So, yeah. From now on, I'll try to record then write, as it seems to be quicker and more effective, for me at least.

      Thanks,

      Michael

I like the idea of declaring how long the dream will last and seeing what happens...enjoyed reading your dream.

Everytime I read lucid accounts I vicariously feel the excitement that comes with LDs...love it.
