How long do your lucid dreams feel?

I have had 2 lucid dreams, one was about 2 seconds, got excited and woke up. the other was a little bit longer, maybe 2 mins.

I think lucid dreaming is the cats ass, and I havn't even scratched the surface.

Once I get better at prolonging my dreams, how long can they get? I'm guessing it depends on which REM cycle you're in but....

Pun intended? Either way it made me giggle helplessly.

generally my Lucid Dreams seem to last hours. However, I think that usually when I lucid dream I do so through the whole dream because I like to either have control or non-control, not switch back and forth.

i honestly begin to tell you how long they last, because in one of my other posts the entire dream felt like a whole day, and i dont remember anything missing from the day, so the dream you could say was a day long, but who knows that could have been a dream that laasted 5 minutes, you never know...

anyway................. it couldnt have been more that 8 hours... i didnt sleep any longer than that

Mine seem at the longest to last 5 minutes. Some of them might of been up to 10 minutes though but they seem a lot shorter.

I generally recall (or so I think) all of my Lucid dream content and if I were to actually act out what happens they would not last more than five minutes. 10 if I am lucky.
My Lucid dreams seem in real time to me. Anyone else?If I were to walk to the neighbors yard Lucid it feels no different than when I am awake. In the sense of time that is.

Lucid dreams should feel like real time or else it isn't lucid. Well there is kind of a grey area between lucid and normal dream where you not really either one. That can be a bit different but I would say you havn't really had a lucid dream untill you get one thats seems real and not just a memory. Infact some nonlucid dreams can even seem like that.

well sometimes your mind can be tricked into thinking the dream was days or even years by a scene where the moon goes down and the sun comes up for example

or other things to simulate alot of time going by when it has really only been minutes

when I have an LD it doesn't feel like real time. I had one Lucid Dream, for instance where it literally felt like it lasted a whole day. but i was thinking about trying something that i read in one of those LD FAQ's where you can stop real time. maybe it somehow made my dream that LD that night feel longer because i read it(?)

anything can affect dreams so that FAQ probably did it.
