ld weather?

In my ld's it's either blue sky day, or night, about half and half. It's never any other weather, i'd like to see it snow or a hurricane or something for a change.

Whats the weather normally like in ur ld's and is it day or night mostly?

Most of mine are cloudless with the sun shining and a sky so blue it almost hurts your eyes. However, I've experienced night and storms.

Now that you mention it, I don't think I've had any LDs with snow in them....weird O_o
you must be the change you wish to see in the world...

Thats a really interesting questions because i've never really noticed the weather, though it has been fairly bright, wait a second, i remember one dream in which there was just clouds and that was it. But i always remembered my dreams having a really dark an gloomy feel to it. I remember running home in pitch black in a dream once, that was scary, it was literally so dark you could see nothing.

Now that i think about it not long ago i had a ld and it was a really cold night and there was snow on the ground, but i i never been in an ld where it was actually snowing. I have dreamt of snow before but never become lucid in any of the dreams.

I've noticed that it is slightly more likely to be night than day in my dreams. The weather is usually clear, but I did have one LD where it was raining.

I've had extremely windy weather in which it looked like it was about to rain but hadn't started yet. I dunno, I think I've pretty much hit everything in terms of the weather I've seen in waking life. (i.e. I've never seen a tornado; and they haven't shown up in my dreams.)

Of course, this requires lucidity.

Mine don't have snow but I don't think I count becuase we don't get snow were I live, so I wouldn't dream about it. I have had rain,(and it just got done raining) sun, clouds, tornadoes, and hurricanes. (we get alot of hurricanes.)

I've had a few regular dreams in which it was snowing, but never LD's. Meh, I think it may be too much for the mind to process? Though I'm sure some have had it. probably hard to simulate, just like the light issue. I've experienced most types of weather though.

Last night i had my first snow ld, i was in my old house and i was watching tv and decided to a rc by looking at the time on the tv. I was sure i was not dreaming but i thought i would check anyway, and i was amazed to find that i was dreaming. (it took me a while to accept i was dreaming, even though the time kept changing every time, but i did eventually) I looked outside and my street looked completely different so i just collapsed to wake myself up because i had a bad feeling about the ld, but instead of waking up i re-appeared in the same room. I looked outside and my street was back to normal and it was hammering down with snow which i was very impressed about. I was shocked how real the snow felt and looked, it was awesome.

The weather in my dreams (lucid and regular) is often dynamic and sometiles changes to fit the mood of the events. Now that I think about it, I have never had a rain or snow LD. This is a future must.

Acually, one of my very first lucid dreams had snow:
I was in the corner of my yard by two fences and snow covered the ground facing my house. I was on my knees and since I was wearing sweat pants and a thin t-shirt (typical sleep clothes) I could feel wet cold spots on my legs and I was just cold in general, but not freezing. I suddenly became lucid but I had no desire to do anything or even continue dreaming at all. So, eyes at half mast and breathing labored but deep, I slowly and quite zombie-like walked towards my house, but before I could get there I started to sink into the darkness below ground and the whole dreamscape fell apart. I was just floating in blackness observing myself sleep in first person, but not watching, if that makes any sense.

I know that the odd behavior wasn't due to freezing, because it was a common, but annoying factor of my dreams. If other people have experienced the same feeling, I say we give it a name (if it doesn't already exist), maybe something latin... wait, anyone know latin?
reality check. etc...

Well I haven't had a LD yet but in the dreams I do have, if I'm outside about 90% of the time it's night, and if not I'm usually observing it through a window... which probably means something but I haven't studied too much Freud... But a lot of times I'll be in some cityscape and everything is sort of wet like there was just a heavy shower.
And what if all of the world and the comforts that you knew disappeared? What if the idea of self, the idea of a thought, and all consciousness faded away while your ego died? Would you hold onto life or cease to exist, are you more than your mind and more than your feelings, can you exist without yourself? Do you know your cosmic niche and could you be content when you are gone?

I like it but I meant the general feeling.
It was like I was empty and tired.

as for my dreams, ive had non lucid dreams about tornados that is pretty freaky. but its always clear skys in my LDs. and 90% of the time, its night.
