      Talking Successful!

This morning I got up at 9 to close the windows, and laid back down. I tried the FILD technique for a while but noticed eventually that I wasn't moving my fingers anymore. Then the next thing I knew, I was in a dream, and I knew it was a dream from the start!

However... I'm not sure if it was technically a WILD or not, since I never saw a dream scene form or anything... I did notice some intense vibrations and rich HI but don't seem to remember the dream forming.

Also, when I'm WILDing, when my body starts to go numb and I get that falling feeling, my heart rate rises and usually causes me to breath quicker and usually stops it from working... any suggestions on how to stay calm when you feel like you're dying?

Congrats! About the staying calm stuff, just keep trying to WILD. The more you experience those weird feelings, the less frightening/distracting they become. Just keep in mind that they are all totally natural, you'll get used to them after a while .

      Hey there,

      First off: congrats!

      Second:
"any suggestions on how to stay calm when you feel like you're dying?"

Actually my suggestion would be just that: stay calm Remind yourself that you're not dying. In fact, remind yourself that what you are feeling is something that your body goes through each and every time it goes to sleep. The only difference is that usually by then your mind is already asleep and you don't experience it consciously.

Like Spartiate said, its totally normal and natural, and nothing can happen to you.

      Hope that helps!
