Ok I have to say now it was accidental I had done nothing to provoke during the day and over the last few days,ok weeks i have just failed at writing any dreams in the journal. But last nite after i had read the shining and lay in bed for a while i fell to sleep, then something weird happened i woke up in the middle of the night didnt check time, wish i had, fell back to sleep dreamt about chasing some person up the road and it clicked me, I am dreaming, so then i had myself a bit of fun. I found it really weird when i was in the lucid state to be frankly honest like it was just a daydream but vivid kinda weird.

Hey, congrats King! Well - I think... I found it really weird when i was in the lucid state to be frankly honest like it was just a daydream but vivid kinda weird. You would really know the difference between being lucid in a dream and having a vivid "daydream". It is possible you did fall back asleep, had the dream about chasing this person, then instead of becoming lucid (which in this case would have been a DILD), you may have, in fact, woken up. Just not entirely woken up as far as opening your eyes and getting up. So you were essentially carrying on the 'plot' of the dream in your head while lying in bed with your eyes closed in a half-asleep state. That's just a theory, though. Obviously you would know for sure.
