Weird lucid

Well ive been getting lots and lots of lucids latley, but last night i had a really really weird one. I read a tutorial the other night about the VILD, i dont remember what it stands for, but its when you try to fall asleep, you imagine a room with the words "lucid" all around it, or an object with the word "lucid" or etc. But i had a different experience, it was just a normal dream, i was out at a motocross track that i have never seen before, (it was all nice and green and perfect dirt and stuff, not the kind of thing you would see in Wyoming :S). Anyway i got off my bike and asked a guy if he had ever lucid dreamed. He said no, but asked what he should do. Then i said, well you have to realize your dreaming, and then poof you get lucid. He said something like "well, that is easy enough, can you show me?". And thats when i was like, ok, you just gotta know your dreaming, then you come into lucid, and then you can move just like this, and when i said just like this, i didnt move the way i wanted to. Then i realized, holy crap, i really am in a dream. So then i went lucid and rode my bike for a bit and then i woke back up.. But i thought it to be interesting that i was talking about a lucid dream to induce one in my dream, kind of a weird thing, but anywho what can you do.

Not even kidding this has been happening to me. Like I will be texting someone saying that I can't talk because "I'm in a lucid dreaming class" or that McDonald's had sponsored lucid dreaming so everything in the entire store had the word "LUCID" on it. Not even kidding it has been on my mind so much that I dream about it but I still can't actually induce one! GAH!

My first and only LD was sorta induced this way I was talking to a friend about LD'ing and suddenly I thought OMG I am dreaming!!!

most of my dreams are weird/bizare, so i choose to wake myself up instead of being lucid.

Yes, and its very weird. Its like a DILD, but its like a VILD induced one. What ever the case i think i might start using that method to see if i can come up with any more lucids that way.

I'd say that if you've had 21 lucids since joining, just two months, you have a pretty high rate of lucidity lol

My first and only lucid dream started when I went out into the hall after getting out of my bed (While dreaming, obviously), 'cause I thought I was still awake, and finding my boss, and telling her that I wished I was alseep, and lucid dreaming, and she was all "Mitchell, I think you ARE dreaming", and then it hit me, and I was like "What the hell are you doing in my hall way?". It was great.

Ya Citezen, im ok with it. I just understand it. But most the time, i go to sleep and have a lucid and wake up in the middle of the night then play some games on my pc or somethin then go back to bed and get another lucid. Most the time i get like 3 lucids in a row, then i cant get one for a few days. Awesome clock, ya this is kinda strange. Its like your body wants you to be lucid so it does something weird like that. Idk really, but it sounds like a good lucid idea.

I wish I could have that many LDs. That would be awesome. Practice practice practice. Anyway last night i tried the same thing. I was in a dream and for some reason i had a person come up to me and start talking about how they became lucid. I wasnt realizing that i was dreaming though, just that he said that. Anyway though, if i could get my mind to think, ok, if someone says lucid, check to see if your lucid! Then i could get it with that technique. I find the VILD technique very useful.
