Sex, death and great balls of fire and ice

This particular night I had troble falling asleep. It may have been caused by tha fact that my girlfriend the next day would go to China for over a month, plus overall anxiety about my drivers license studies. I slept alone since I was studying in another city.

Anyways, at some point in the dream I just realized "I'm dreaming", for no particular reason.

I went through a door and a large group of people, mostly friends and relatives, were sitting at a table eating and drinking. I see my girlfriend in the middle and immidiatly jump at her. We then start floating in mid-air, ripping eachothers clothes off, having sex somewhere in the center between four walls, a floor and a ceiling. After a while, when we are done, I find myself on a flying carpet, a big one, along with the people from the previous scene. We are flying through a winterish landscape and suddenly some skeleton/star wars imperial guards starts chasing us. I immidiatly realize the potential of fun in this. I try to form balls of fire in my hands (something Ive never tried in a LD before) and find that it wasn't harder than snapping my fingers.

The thing is the enemy quickly adapted to my fiersome strategy, because now they were all on fire, thus resistant to it, so I had to try something new. I now started to throw packs of ice to destroy them and it worked fine. All this while sitting on Alladins flying purple carpet. But just when Darth Vader is about to approach to begin the final battle, I relocate for some mysterious reason I cannot comprehend.

I sit, somewhere in an apartment, again surrounded by friends and relatives, looking at the entrance of which I can only see the lower half. I see somones legs for some time, and then the person decides to step into the apartment. She sits down and I see who it is, my late aunt who passed away last year. Since I just a moment ago was lucid I should become lucid again when I am confronted with something so appearently unreal as a dead person, but nooo, I dont get it

To add up to the fact that I am completely lost in dreams once again, my dead aunt is dressed in a dark blue dress, her head is extremely swollen, her lips and skin is blue like those of a corpse, even her teeth are blue. She still has her darkbrown deer eyes, but strangely no pupils.

I, amazed by the incredible lucid I have just experienced but also terrified by her gruesome appearence, begin to tell her about my lucid dream, and of lucid dreaming in general. She listens closely, with a very happy but scary smile in her deformed face. But I try to focus on her beautiful eyes, because in them I see that it is still my lovely loving aunt and not some nightmarish monster my subconcious has created.

From this moment on I dont remember much, but it was an interesting and quite pleasant and rewarding dream, though the aunt-sequence was a bit strange. But then again, when are dreams not?

      Thanks!
Though I wish I could LD more often. Its been happening quite spontaniously since I joined DV, about once a month. Funny thing is, since I met my girlfriend my dream recall has improved a lot. And not because I write it down, but just because I actually remember when I wake up, which usually happens about once a week. She has an incredible dream recall and would probably be a natural at LDing, if she put some effort to it. But she is nevertheless interested and tells me almost everyday of her dreams. Perhaps she is having somekind of placebo-effect on me?

That's not a placebo effect. Quite the contrary!

By talking about dreams with you she's focussing your attention on dreaming, together (whether through talking or listening), you're putting words to the fleeting dream images, you're symbolising your dreamscenes, you're consciously talking about the dreams and thereby expanding your awareness of them.

It's little wonder you find your recall improving
