      Was this lucid?

I had a dream that I was in school. And in this one class I fell asleep . I think it was almost a shared dream with the dream charactor .Sorta...I know dream charactors are just in your dream, but It just was. I can't really expain it. I guess in my dream she fell asleep in the classroom too in my dream. She and 2 other students that I know were in it.

This was the odd thing, Besides the fact that it was a dream within a dream, I said to my best friend "Hey, isn't this a dream?" She said "Yeah." .

I have never heard of a dream charactor tellnig you it is a dream...and I tried to fly by jumping straight up and closing my eyes (I had a weird sensation when I did, Almost like light headeness, It didn't work. (I don't think I was fully lucid, I just knew what I wanted to do) My friend laughed at me..xD. Then I tried running and jumping and flapping my arms, but before I could try anything other that those 2 ways the teacher in my real dream dismissed the class and I woke up (Into the first, real dream where i'm in school). I didn't get in trouble for sleeping during the class..Heh. And I worred about what the lesson was about, I asked one of my friends "Ack..What was the lesson about?"

And then we continued to go to lunch...xD..

So. Was I lucid, even if it was only in a dream that is within my actul dream? Like I said eariler..I think I wasn't fully lucid or I could of done more.

It is of course different levels of lucidity, but all kinds of dreams when you know you are dreaming is a lucid dream. :bravo:
      Are you dreaming?

Oh I would definitely say that you were lucid! But lucidity and dream control are 2 separate things. Eventually you will be able to have control in your LDs when you've had more of them.

Hehe, congrats on the whole "Dweam within a dweam"!! Those are too complex for my brain to even attempt!!
