      does anyone....

Does anyone out there have any ideas that me and others could try.

just think the more options ppl have the better we will all be able to do this stuff.

Are you saying that you don't have much dreams? I thought that one always dream, during every REM period during the night? And that it's just a questíon of remembering those dreams. In that case your problem isn't that you don't dream, it's that you don't remember them, in which case you should work on your dream recall.

The easy way is to use a dream journal, just write down every dream you have and it helps you remeber them a lot better. A dream journal will help you with what you want pretty good. Now if you have another way to remeber them, that is less work than waking up in the middle of the night and writing it down, go for it.

Somebody gave a speech on this in my 9th grade speech class. She said that if you remain still when you wake up and think back on what you dreamed, you can remember your dreams more easily. Your dreams are much fresher on your mind right when you wake up than they are later that day. I have often woken up and said, "What a bizarre dream," only to have trouble remembering what it was later in the day.

If you keep a dream journal, it will put you more in touch with the dream world, and you will be able to recognize the dream world more easily when you are there, which will make it easier to have lucid dreams. Also, my lucid dreams have always been easier to remember than my other ones, probably because I spend the next day dwelling on them.
How do you know you are not dreaming right now?
