This morning I had my second LD since I started trying! It was SOOO COOL, and way more vivid than my last one a couple weeks ago. I'll do my best to describe it. It was kind of a "mixed bag" of experiences.

First off, my dreams are always totally bizarre and generally unrelated to my normal life, so I won't really try to explain the storyline. Long story short, I'm in a police station being booked for driving without a license. I'm talking to a couple dream characters (who just happened to be attractive women) about calling my lawyer, when I thought "What am I doing in a POLICE STATION?!?" and I instantly knew I had to be dreaming.

As soon as I knew it, I drew the woman I was talking to close to me and we started kissing. It was a WONDERFUL kiss! It was so sweet and it all felt SO REAL! I was so thrilled, I had to remind myself not to get too excited about it, cuz I didn't want to wake up.

Then the coolest thing happened, I thought about how I'd like to try flying next, and we both started floating into the air while we were still kissing! That first moment of weightlesness while we were embraced was incredible!

I think the feeling of floating must over-took me, cuz the next thing I knew I was outside and flying over rooftops in a town. It wasn't quite smooth, "Superman" style flying, it was a bit more awkward like, well...if anybody here is old enough to remember an old TV show from the early 80's called "Greatest American Hero," about a guy who found this suit that made him able to do Superman type stuff, but he was still trying to get the hang of it. So he'd end up flying into billboards and what-not, well it was a lot like that. LOL! But still loads of fun!

Anyway, while I was flying, I decided to try an RC (even though I already knew I was dreaming) just for fun. I tried one I've using while I'm awake a lot - I looked at my hands (which looked normal, but kind grainy like through a TV set- and I tried to push my left index finger through my right palm. I figured I would be able to let my finger go right through my hand like a ghost. The funny thing was, it didn't! It just pushed against my palm like when I test during my waking hours! I thought it was wierd, so I tried again, and it still felt "real," instead of going through. But I did notice that after I took my finger away from my palm, there were these cool "ripples" in my palm, like when you drop a pebble in a pond. So, my RC worked, just not the way I expected.

Moving on, I stopped looking at my hands and was "leap frogging" on rooftops, kinda like being on the moon I guess. And then I decided I wanted to see if I could visit an imaginary garden that I use in self-hypnosis sessions (in deeps states of hypnosis I can picture this place vividly, so in a way it's "real" to me). I stopped on a rooftop and started spinning to try and appear there.

I only got a "flash image" of the place, and instead I ended up in a high school I've never been to. It had really high ceilings in the hallways (I noticed becasue I was still flying through it). I floated into an art class, and as I was passing over three students at a table, they each grabbed me with one hand and held me there. (This was especially wierd, since a similiar thing happened in my first LD two weeks ago, here's that post - http://www.dreamviews.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4869).

Well, I tried to "will" them to let go, cuz I wanted to keep flying. But it wasn't working. So then I thought I'd try spinning out of there and go somewhere else, but while I was spinning, I could still feel their hands holding me! WEIRD feeling!

Anyway, while this was happening, I started to get a feeling like I needed to go to the bathroom in real life, and I thought "well, I might as well just wake up and go. This is just gonna be distracting." So I got up and went to the bathroom, and I'm...ahem, going when I suddenly realized I had walked in there with my closed the whole time, and I had this funny feeling like my head was on a pillow...

Then it hit me, that I was STILL dreaming! So, I guess this was my first False Awakening or whatever. It was a really wild experience! I was so surprised by it, I actually opened my eyes (for real). And that was my second LD!

It was AWESOME! WAAAY better than my last one. I think it lasted a total of 3-5 minutes in real time. By far the best part was the Zero-G Kiss. My only complaint was that, although I felt like I had control of myself, I wasn't quite able to control my surroundings or some of those grabby dream characters!

I was gonna explain a little about how I think this one happened (what techniques I'm using and such), but I guess I've written a bunch here already! I'll post it in this thread next time if anyone's interested.

Till then, SWEET DREAMS EVERYBODY!
