      Walking Through Glass

I was just wondering why some people find it so difficukt to walk through glass and mirrors while LD'ing I find it pretty easy, as long as I don't run at the glass then I go through it as if it's a sheet of water, its usefull for getting into locked cars that I want to drive

Cool! I've never considered stealing cars in an LD

Your belief in your abilities is what enables you to do this so easily. This is true for walking through glass as well as anything in lucid dreaming. You should take this strong belief and use it in all aspects of your lucid dreaming.

      Wow...

What a great thought... I never had the idea to walk through glass before...

      So doing it tonight.
You merely have to change your point of view slightly, and then that glass will sparkle when it reflects the light.

Try starting out by doing it in a big mirror it is sooo weird! In my dream I was showing of my friends who was in the dream that it really was a dream so i went through the mirror and everything was backwards it was awesome!! I don;t use doors anymore either lol
NOTE: if your going out of a window thats really high up, don't worry about falling i usually just float to the ground

I have not walked through glass by have put my hand through it just for the fun of it, pretty much the same way you put your finger through your hand when you do the finger RC.

I have however walked through a door, which felt weird, and I only got all the way through on the second attempt.

Walking through walls is also a hoot. Try to pass through it slowly and take time to feel all of the components of the wall... Sheet rock, 2x4's, insulation, electric wiring...

I actually tried this the night before last (my first LD for a long time), as I was in a room with no door - it failed the first time but I found I could do it pretty easily if I concentrated.
Unfortunately I lost control and fell into another, non-lucid dream before I could get all the way through but it was pretty cool.
If anyone has trouble doing this, maybe try thinking D.L. from Heroes or something similar - I found it easier when I had an image of it happening in my head, rather than just expecting to go through it.

In our own house we have stone walls, but some years ago I had hollidays in canada. The first night in the house of friends I woke up in an OOBE.
I stood up and because I didn't want to go through the house,
( I did not want to horrify someone ) I decided to go through the wall.
But in that moment, I wondered about the structure of the wall.
I feel and saw the two wooden planks on each side. Anyhow, I went through
and some meters along the drive. Then woke up.
