Well, haven't had a lucid dream in about 4 years.
S'why I'm here.
When I was younger they'd happen randomly, maybe once every couple of months.
They stopped when I was about 10 years old.
Haven't had one since.
This is an old LD I remember. I wrote it down at the time, simply because it was so weird to 10 year old me. Wasn't keeping a dream journal at the time.
Started, non lucid, in an SUV, don't know what kind.
It was dark out, no lights inside.
We stopped, middle of the road. I know this road, it's just off of the street I live on.
I got out, turned back towards the SUV.
It's big and gray. Much larger than any real SUV could ever be.
Turned back away from the SUV. Big loud noise, like thunder, just as soon as I had turned around, and suddenly I'm on the ground, now I'm lucid. (Come to think of it, I don't know why I became lucid...)
Stand up, look around.
Nothing.
Just the street, nothing out of the ordinary.
The SUV is gone.
It's still dark, kind of gray actually.
Kind of confused, I started walking down towards where the street I live on should be.
Now, being as young as I was, and not really understanding what a lucid dream was, I didn't know about dream control.
So, still walking, a large white SUV pulls up next to me.
I look in, it's full, a family I suppose.
I asked how I wake up, because, honestly, I was scared. It was a big weird dream, and I knew it was a dream, but I didn't know I could control it.
So, again, I asked how to wake up. No response.
I looked to the right. Nothing. Looked back, SUV is gone.
Throughout the whole dream, I have continually looked up, at the sky.
I looked up now, and saw my ceiling.
On my left, a wall.
My right, a desk.
I'm awake.
This was a LONG dream.
Oddly long.
The walking part?
Kind of confused, I started walking down towards where the street I live on should be.
I walked for a LONG time.
Felt like maybe 45 minutes, give or take. Obviously it's been 4 years so I'm not certain, but I did write most of this down.
So, as a 10 year old, this confused me to no end.
Still does.
Back then, I had dreams about flying, or running fast (think, Sonic the Hedgehog), so this was exceptionally weird.
