Bizarre and EXTREMELY irritating LD experience =( =( *cries*

OK guys words cannot express how irritated I am about what just happened. Basically, I'd had a fair few dreams this morning already, then I was having a dream I was on msn to a few friends, I think talking about lucid dreaming... all of a sudden one of them repeatedly types "THIS IS A DREAM! THIS IS A DREAM!" to me, and lo and behold, it is! Lucid dream

So I stand up, and begin to test my senses. I take a look at my hands, then tell myself there's a pot of jam on the floor around the corner.. go to get it, but in fact it's some alcoholic spirit.. but I drink it anyway, and sniff it, and touch some other things, and it's all just like it would be in real life. Then I go upstairs to my bedroom, and well, what can I say. Vivid is not the word. It really is, just like real life.. absolutely incredible... I'm lucid at last, it's been a whole week, it's gonna be so great....

And then it all went wrong. I just got confused. I've been having a few arguments with my mom about lucid dreams whenever I mention it to her.. her telling me to live in the real world, etc.. and she and my dad have a bad habit of waking me up if I sleep in too late... so, like a fool, for some reason, I opened my bedroom door and shouted down to her not to wake me up.

Then she appears upstairs, and starts arguing. I start arguing back, we have a big annoying argument and then I'm convinced I'm no longer dreaming. I look down at my hands and because I expect them to be normal, they are. And then I lose lucidity.

I few moments later I wake up, and just... ugh, words cannot express how irritated I am right now.

Also, it's my birthday. I've been saying to myself all I wanted for my birthday was a lucid dream... but not this kind!!

Just remind yourself that they are dream characters next time it happens. Either ignore them, kill them, or go to somewhere that they aren't.

yeh.. the thing that irritates me is how foolish i was in seeking out my dream-mom to tell her not to wake me up.. such a fool! and i can't believe my hand reality check failed, just because i was expecting it to.. grr

Eh, I don't like reality checks. I confuse reality with dreams too. The last time that I was lucid I knew that my dream would end soon and didn't want to start something fun that I couldn't finish, so I figured I'd stay in the one spot until next time I was asleep :-\
