      Second decent LD =D

Well I just had my second decent lucid dream, just 3 days after my first!

Anyways, I'm still having a really tough time with controlling things, but my biggest problem is that... although everything looks realistic, sometimes... things seem to get distorted..or just aren't shaped proportionally. My level of lucidity isn't amazingly high either because most of these flaws I don't notice while in the dream. Only when I wake up do I think back and realize "Wait... that's not right..." I'm guessing the reason for these distortions is the fact that I'm not that lucid. So... once I am at least aware that I'm dreaming, how do I make my lucidity stronger so that things make a little more sense? ...if you get what I'm saying lol.

When you first realize your dreaming, focus on the dream. Take a breather and think about it, gather your surroundings. Try rubbing your hands together and try yelling out something like "Clarity Now!"

Just some simple and easy tips that have shown to be a help to a lot of people with the same problem

Ah, thanks a lot. I'm usually too busy thinking about all the cool stuff I want to do to focus on anything lol. Next time I go lucid, I'll definitely try that.

Oh also, I've read that the more stable and realistic your dream is the longer you are likely to be in it... is this true? I'm pretty sure it is because I always wake up shortly after things look very distorted or when I get excited and lose any tiny amount of focus I may have had.
