Thread: Text Messages In Dreams-lucid Task Potential

Last night in a dream (very non-lucid). I had gotten a text message on my cell phone after a group of some DC policemen told me a " gold monte carlo" (my car in real life) had been crashed by my girlfriend who was psycho in the dream (and in real life). I then get a series of text messages from her and it read:
Text 1: Hello
Text 2: Something worst
Text 3: Death
Then in the bottom right corner of the phone screen it had a hot key button that read: UNSUBSCRIBE, I then pressed it.
Any body get text messages in dreams before, if so post it here. BTW This will make a great Lucid Task of The Month

I really find it interesting how we are invariably busting that myth of "you can't read in dreams" because, you can, in the sense that it manifests itself to projection.

Just to persuade this a bit, do these text messages hold any personal meaning to you..? I am curious if they manifested in your dreams as a result of their sentimental value.

lol i've never heard of that myth but if there are any doubts about what we can do in dreams, they should pretty much be dismissed because i'm sure most of us are aware that we can accomplish anything, including reading digital clocks correctly.

Right. I think the arguement is in the crux of if it is a mental projection then you are not really reading an external stimulus but an internal sensation.
