      Woo hoo!! GREAT night!

All this reading on lucidity did the trick for me last night! It was awesome. The way I became lucid was rather amusing actually. One of my dreamsigns is background music

I'm in my bedroom, but this bedroom is from 15 years ago. I think nothing of it. What does strike me as strange is the piano music I hear quite loud and clear, despite a lack of audio sources in the room. I look up, lo and behold I have no roof, rather I see myself rather "Ray-esque", playing piano with dark sunglasses and moving in an odd fashion.

"If I'm actually playing piano up there, I must be dreaming right now!" I reason. "Time to fly!" Instantly I am in a giant toy store. I step up and take to flight, flying around, grabbing and dropping toys for the fun of it. I fly out through the roof into a large New York looking city. Sky scrapers everywhere, tons of traffic.

I go low and for speed. I fly in a straight line, breezing quite literally through cars and buildings, but I don't go through any people. I don't intentionally avoid people, simply none are in my path. I slow down and fly through a multi-story mall. I stop in the middle of a wall to see how it looks. It looks like concrete, steel, and insulation, not surprising, so I keep going. I find myself in a candy store, so I grab an old favorite - candy dots. Candy is perfect in my dreams ~ delicious, satisfying, and zero calorie

I fly out of the building and change my scenery to a mountainous curvy path, like Southern California's Pacific Coast Highway. Again, I stay low to the road, and go fast. I feel the G's around the turns, like when I had my motorcycle, only so much more intense. No traffic, mountains on my right, ocean on my left. I'm going so fast, but it is no trouble to stay above the road. It's ecstacy.

I feel it start to fade. No regrets, a night thoroughly enjoyed. I woke up with a smile on my face All in all, it "felt" like about 45 minutes to an hour. It's been a long time since I've had such control for so long. Next time, I'm going to try some of the things I've read about on this forum!
