First lucid & a slight problem

Well, where do I begin, well first off I was trying to WILD before bed(I know it doesn't work as well but I gave it a shot). Anyways, of course it failed, but I did have some lame dream that I can barely remember at this point, and ended up waking up at like 6 am.

Again, I tried to WILD to fall back asleep, but gave up after about an hour laying there. So I just fell asleep hoping for a DILD or something, and I got one.

I started out in the perfect scenario to have a DILD, I was walking through my school, and I constantly check the clocks there to make sure I wont be late for my next class. So I looked up at a clock and saw the times changing fairly fast. That's when it hit me, I was lucid, or at least semi-lucid. I then somehow appeared at a large department store, and I was ready to test out my lucid abilities. I mostly just wandered around looking at the dream environment, nothing too interesting. Then I saw a random piece of paper laying on a counter, so I tried reading, I decided to stop after I only saw random letters and it made my vision go blurry, and it hurt my eyes.

So I wandered a bit more and saw a random shotgun laying on the floor, but for some reason I didn't have the slightest urge to pick it up. Anyways, I saw some eccentric looking emo-punk-skater DC's so I was gonna go see what a conversation with them would be like. Unfortunately, they turned a corner and apparently disappeared. I got quite bored of this store environment, so I decided to spin around and rubbed my hands together to see what new place my mind could conjure up. When I opened my eyes I immediately knew where I was just by seeing the tile on the floor. I was in the condo my family rents out in Florida every year.

I walked around too see what I could find, nothing out of the ordinary, except the bedrooms didn't have any beds, only blankets and pillows on the ground. Anyways then my mom walked in, so I decided to have a bit of fun, I asked her what my name was multiple times, and each time she said a different, random, impossible to pronounce word. Then I asked what time it was, she replied with "I dont know". I noticed she had a watch on her wrist so I said "Mom.... you have a watch right there, what time is it?". This was kinda funny, she didn't even look at her watch and said "11:00". I just stood there for a second and she acted like she forgot to answer my question and said "I'm taking a while, aren't I?" she then looked at her watch and said "I don't know, does time pass that fast?". The dream ended with my mom describing some odd recipe consisting of oatmeal and cement mix, and then I woke up.

Anyway, my problem is after I woke up, although I could remember almost everything that happened in the dream, it felt like it was a distant memory. If that makes any sense. Like, the realism and clarity of it wasn't exactly the best. The only clear part was when I appeared in the condo. Is there a way I could increase the clarity of my dreams?
